A challenge
Just embarked on this build after completing the Trumpeter Panther. As you would expect with this brand a good quality of pieces with not too much cleaning/sanding required. I would think there are about 1700 pieces in this kit, with the tracks taking up about 500 plus of these pieces. A challenge for experienced modellers and a project to take slowly if relatively new to the hobby. Expect to take months rather than weeks to complete. Good luck.

It's massive
Looks very good so far. I have seen reviews that state this is big but it is massive!I have made the trumpeter 1/16th scale panzer IV and the track and wheels on this are 3 times biggerThe turret covers a 1/35 scale King tiger.The only down side is they used stupid rubber hoses for the engine! I will need to source an alternativeUpdate - parts fit perfect, others are awful and the moulding requires a lot of fillingBe warned

King of model kits
Huge in every regard, but only really for seasoned modellers, but really great fun. The size of the box it comes in is frankly staggering!If you're a lover of detail in model kits, you'll love Trumpeter, but do remember beautiful though the interior detailing is, on completion no one but the builder will be aware of it - without severe "bashing" (user modification).Be aware the manual while excellent, is comprised only of drawings. There is no text to speak of, you are expected to know what you are doing to a large degree.But I Love it! (with a capital "L").
