After finishing a book about How to Do Cryptic Crosswords, I was keen to try some more as a beginner, to keep my brain fit. I gave up on the puzzle book of The Telegraph Cryptic Crosswords! Doh! This Sun book is a mixture of Cryptic and Straight clues which have the syame answer. This makes it more enjoyable for a beginner like me, as I can cross check the Coffeetime clues to see if I'm on the right lines.I'll definitely buy another when I've finished this one

Thank goodness there are answers! The coffee time version is reasonably good although the person who sets it seems to resort to obscure quizword style answers or uses an online crossword checker to find really random answers, instead of taking a short time to change a few things around. Some of the cryptic clues are really poor - I do the Telegraph crossword and struggle less.I don't want a crossword that is too easy, so I would say it is alright, but far from the best.
