Im taking an EMT class and I’m getting close to finishing school, I bought the book to sharpen my knowledge and prepare myself for the NREMT. This book is so well organized and the information in it is amazing, my confidence for taking the NREMT is through the roof now. Recommend 10/10.

the book clutched for my nremt I was so scared and decided to buy it after a friend recommended it to me. I read 100/300 of the pages each day and did all the quizzes and skimmed through it right before my exam at like 8am. It stopped me at 70 questions and truthfully I thought I flunked but got the email later that day saying I passed! it was my first time taking it and the questions were interesting but the book helps you remember the basic things that can help you decipher the questions on the test. but do keep in mind that we all did not take the same emt class so results may vary but its very straight forward. but if you have the time to read through it thoroughly read through it thoroughly cause it is a great book. Your journey is almost over future emt keep your head up!!! dont be a last minute person like me but if you are this book and a couple online practice exams got you good.

First and foremost, I want to begin by saying that I absolutely have zero medical background; I'm actually in the hospitality industry and decided to get into EMS as it's always been a long-time dream for me, a stepping stone to get into the medical field. About a month and a half ago, I took an accelerated EMT course, and it was by far the toughest class I've ever taken. The course was so fast-paced, with all the information crammed into such a little time. Needless to say, only 9 out of 16 of us passed the class. One of our instructors recommended this book, so I picked it up to study for the NREMT. This book simplified everything for me, providing a better understanding without the need to read the 1000+ pages of the AAOS textbook. This book, combined with PocketEMT, helped me tremendously. The NREMT is tricky, but if you take the time to understand each chapter in this book, rather than just memorizing it, you will pass the NREMT. If you did well on your patient assessments, skills, and practicals, you'll do well on the exam. I'm not the best at studying and taking exams, but this book helped me a lot, and I passed the NREMT on the first try! I highly recommend this book; you will not regret it!

Bought this book when I was taking my EMT-B class and loved reading it to help with studying for the exam. Now as a EMT I enjoy reading it while im on shift to brush up on skills. It is small enough that it easily fits in my backpack.

If you are a basic EMT needing a "quick study" for your tests and exams. This is a good choice for your toolbox. I liked the quiz at the end of each chapter but it needed more than 5 questions. I liked the way the info was presented but I knocked off a star because I felt it was missing something, I was left needing a bit more knowledge than it gave. But all in all I feel it is a MUST HAVE. So don't hesitate, buy this book.

I personally wanted a new book and didn’t read the description seeing that it said USED but overall the book is fine does what it needs to do no complaints

Hello, All. My name is Robert. I never make reviews but wanted to post my feedback for future EMTs. I CAN SAY THIS BOOK 100% IS WORTH IT! I've always passed EMT classes and practicals but kept struggling with the national NREMT. I kept questioning myself and did not know what I was doing wrong. I've never struggled with a test, and this one kept getting me. I've read pearson books front to the back, used online videos, used applications on my phone, and everything you can think of. My knowledge stayed the same but when I tested, the questions I was getting kept getting me. After failing multiple times someone from my class recommended me this book. I took it with a salt of grain due to me reading everything and when it came to the test, it was just random. THIS BOOK SAVED ME. It's basically the pearson book blended and made shorter. Instead of 2000 pages it's around 300. I ONLY read it once and took my time. I went in to test for the NREMT and expected the same results as the previous ones. I got to 75 questions and knew I was going to 120. After finishing my NREMT with 120 questions, I accepted my fate and didn't stress about it. After 5 hours, I got an email congratulating me on my EMT exam. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book. Over the past couple of years on and off nothing has helped compared to this book. A lot of questions I got on my recent test, had a lot to do with this book.
