Very poor quality-does not function properly
Ink cartridge does not perform properly. Black is fine , magenta works sometimes. Blue and Yellow do not function properly. I ran several clean head operations to attempt to get to work, did work one page and then stopped again. Used a lot of ink to test print. Out of time to return it now. My bad. Would not recommend this item as a replacement for your HP ink head.

Did the job for my 8630 !!
Had an old printhead that would was reported as "missing or not installed correctly....." by my HP 8630. Tried the cleaning tricks on YouTube without success so opted for the complete replacement. The internet said this may or may not work, but in my case it started right up with the new printhead. No more error messages. The printer wanted to do a printhead alignment which resulted in mostly blank pages with an "alignment unsuccessful" message. Stepped through the 3-level "Clean Printhead" process, and got a decent printed page at the third level. Tried another "align printhead" process and while the printed page looked good, the printer still stated it was unsuccessful. Went ahead and started using the printer for print jobs, and acme back to the "align printhead" process several hours later. This time it was successful.

Works perfectly for my HP 8600
I ordered this replacement head as I got an error message on my HP 8600 Ink Jet Printer that my print head has failed. This is a drop in replacement and is easy to install with clear instructions (you can refer to youtube videos as well if required). You have to properly align it once you put the Ink Cartridges into the new print head cartridge. It worked perfectly for me.

Replacement for my HP8610 MFP - ITEM DID NOT APPEAR TO BE BRAND NEW - BUT PRINTER IS WORKING NOW.
Received replacement part and after a little maintenance of the cartridge/cleaning of the print heads, it worked. However, part appeared to be used. There was paper towels shoved inside of it and ink on the box and paper tower. The rubber plugs were not installed.Estimated replacement cost is about four hundred. Part cost 118.00. So I think it was worth buying the part. Coincidentally I have two of the HP 8610 printers, both over 8 years old, and both needing the replacement part.

I have a hp officejet pro8620 and when I put it in it said the print head was missing and would not work

Replacement for the HP Printer Head
I purchased this item when I got the error message on my HP 8620 Ink Jet Printer that the print head has failed. I haven't had to replace the HP JetDirect Print Head for the last 4 1/2 years. I was somewhat reluctant at first but I knew that it had to be done. When it arrived I had to watch a YouTube video to see exactly how to pull the old one out and install the new one. Pretty straight forward so far. But that's where the whole thing changed. You have to get it properly aligned one you put the Ink Cartridges into the new print head cartridge. So I started the alignment and it stopped working. The printing was terrible! So back to YouTube for a "Factory Reset Procedure". Wow that's getting complicated now! After a complete shutdown and Factory Reset Procedure plus an Alignment all over again...I was able to get a bit better print, but colors were not clear. So I had to reset again and do at least 12 prints before it was accurate. So now it prints like new. But that's a lot of work just to get the printer to print properly. Highly recommend that everyone carefully watch a Step by Step procedure while doing the installation. Now it looks great!!

The first print head I received did not work-ever. I then received a warranty replacement which printed black ok, but the color printing was way off. Within 45 days, it too failed completely. During the entire 45 days, the color blending was terrible, but at least it printed black so I used it. It was out of the return window, but I complained by leaving a bad review. Bedoer contacted me and refunded the charges after my explanation. I did not have luck with the print head, but the vendor was stand up and did their best to correct the issue. Thank you.
