Surpsingly pleasant to tig weld, no weird contamination in the weld puddle.

Used this product to weld frame stiffeners on my XJ. 1 can was enough for both mid and front stiffeners with some product left over

Dries FAST!
Dries really quickly and leaves a nice smooth coat, sprays decently wide also. Didn't have any issues using MIG with it (on Jeep Comanche frame stiffeners)

Good Cover Even Coat
Pigment goes on thick and covers completely. Self-leveling smooth coating. Works like you hope primer would.

It works!! Mig and Tig welding had no problems!
We sanded off the outer coating on the inner fender flares to prepare for frame stiffeners for our Jeep Cherokee. When we got down to bare metal, we added this primer and welded frame stiffeners right over it. Worked great!We also sprayed it on our Dana60 to prepare for a truss. Such a good product!We will continue to use this in our Jeep build.It works great!The spray lays on great. Gets tacky and dries fast! We would definitely buy it again!We mig and tig weld and the primer worked great on our Jeep XJ.

Primer flakes off when you bend the sheet metal, poor adhesion.
I notice that the coating flakes off the sheet metal but it does weld through the primer and it also burns off. I don't like it but I bought it so I used it.
