Best knife for cutting large loaf of bread. I bake my own Artisan bread and typically each loaf is huge and I used to struggle cutting through especially at the base where hard crest is present. No problem with this knife. I now can cut slices, including the bottom like cutting through butter. Glad I bought this knife and highly recommend it.

Bought this for my wife to exclusively slice her sourdough loaves and she absolutely loves it! So much she's cut herself a couple of times. Excellent quality and very sharp. She doesn't know that I use it to slice my prime rib as well. Works great! Excellent purchase

This knife is exactly what My mom needed. She makes the best homemade bread But the bread knife she had was not long enough for her to Comfortably slice her delicious bread when using her bread slicer guides. It was too short. This knife is definitely long enough and razor sharp, so do be careful if you get it. And if you make homemade bread or just need a good sharp knife to slice Bread or cakes, this is definitely the knife to do it. She highly recommends it to anyone needs a knife that will reach across a bread slicer and not come out of the guides each time you try to cut a slice. It does a great job with a nice, smooth finish. It is a nicely weighted knife which is excellent when using it to slice bread or cakes. It has a very comfortable handle, which is large enough to get a good grip on. That's very important to keep control of this type of knife Because it is very sharp. The blade is not just sharp but also very well made and sturdy which helps when slicing bread. She will be getting another one of a different length made by the same company because this one is such a well made product. Please note, hand washing is recommended for Your good knives. She handwashes all of her bread knives. When washing this one, be extremely careful. As mentioned, it is razor-sharp!!! Great product!

We can't afford to buy bread because of all the 0% inflation so we started baking our own. Much better anyway! But you gotta have a good sharp bread knife or you're wasting your time. This thing is fantastic! Perfect length to efficiently slice a standard size loaf and still fit in the silverware drawer. Serrations are just right for a good cut and it is extremely sharp. I can almost slice a loaf without producing any crumbs at all. Very clean cut. Very happy! Just looking back at old reviews and saw this one from three years ago. I forgot I wrote it. We still use this knife every day. Never sharpened it and it still cuts like the day we bought it. The handle is holding up perfectly. I was afraid it might get nasty or start coming apart but it looks like the day it arrived. I don't put it in the dishwasher. It only cuts bread so a good wipe down after use with occasional soap and water, dry it off and put it in a sheath. Great knife!

Sharp and good quality, worth the money for sure, very sleek and shiny, and a very good weight and even balance!

We eat only homemade artisan breads, double baked to ensure a strong crust. 45 loaves over the past 12 months. This knife performs better than my old (now trashed) fancy Henkels. The flexible polymer handle provides a sure & safe grip that allows all my energy to go into precise cutting. I tested the steel for iron content by using a strong magnet (the type for rescuing keys from an unreachable place). . .a strong hold on the blade. (Stainless steels do not hold a sharp blade whereas high carbon steel does.) One warning: This blade could take off a finger tip. Be careful using it.

The knife is sharp and with the long knife can cut sourdough bread straight, the other knifes are to short to cut bread.

Bought this knife to use to cut homemade bread using a cutting board made for bread. All other bread knives weren't long enough to saw back and forth within the partitions of the cutting board. This knife works wonderfully. It has a very long blade and is very sharp!
