These are fun chalk markers to use. I use them on the large windows in my classroom. I have paired these with posters to show the writing process. I have used these to title important posters, list vocabulary, and I plan to label the windowsill plants this spring. These are brightly colored and easy to see. I love how the bright green and yellow can really highlight key words and make them pop during most of the day. I wish there was also a darker blue, but that’s just me wanting the cherry on top.Turn the marker for thin or thick lines. If you make a mistake or don’t like the placement of something, they are super easy to wipe off cleanly with a finger or damp rag to try again. When writing on a vertical surface, direction is key to a consistent line. Push in the tip on a piece of paper first to get the liquid flowing. Then sometimes I still have to re-push in the tip and/or repeat lines on longer words. Don’t try to repeat lines once the liquid and/or tip has dried, or you will just scrape off the chalk (unless you are going for that look).In addition to classroom use, I could see these being great for car windows to highlight team names, weddings, celebrations, sales, etc. They could also be used by businesses in display windows for appreciations, holidays, and campaigns.

Excellent chalk paint pens! Worked well for a chalkboard craft project and cleans easily with plain water. You won't regret these!

I ordered these chalk markers as an alternative to regular chalk. I have a large 4'x7' chalkboard in my welding shop that I use for sketches, quick math, layouts, notes, to-do lists, and so on. I've been using regular chalk which generate a lot of dust and is easily smudged. These seemed like a possible alternative.As with all solid paint markers, to make certain the ingredients are properly mixed, you need to shake these prior to use. This is a simple task and only takes a minute or so. Once mixed, you prime the tip by pressing the marker down on a surface. The tip is a stubby modified chisel type, which provides the ability of getting both fine and wide lines.I found these markers work well, once properly mixed, the chalk paint flows evenly. The colors are vivid, opaque and highly saturated, which makes these ideal for use on glass. The vivid opaque colors, crisp lines and high degree of control makes these perfect for decorating glass windows or mirrors, making them ideal for murals on storefronts or using for signage on car windows.I found these also work well on whiteboards and blackboards. Unlike regular chalk, once dry, these do not rub off on blackboards, however, the paint is easily removed with a wet paper towel or sponge. I like the control these offer and the crisp vivid lines they create. I tried these on poster paper and found they provided vivid color with no bleed or soaking through the paper.I'm pleased with these chalk markers, they are very versatile, opening up a lot of creative opportunities. They work well on the blackboard, whiteboard and light-table in my shop, almost any non-porous surface is game, they have given me the ability of using my large (16'x10') steel flat skinned garage door as a giant sketchpad. (I tried regular chalk on the garage door and it left a mark, these markers wash off with no residue.)Bottom line: These chalk paint solid color markers work well, providing crisp lines of highly opaque, vivid color that is easily removed with just water with no toxic residue.

These are nice markers that produce vibrant colors. The lines are very thick, so it’s better for use on large drawings. I bought it so I could use it on my wall calendar, but it’s kind of hard to get a finer line that makes it legible. The instructions said it had a reversible tip, which led me to assume one side was a finer tip and the other was thicker, but as you can see in the image, they’re exactly the same on both sides. The description said 3-in-1 nib, but it was very hard to get the fine tip. The color comes out nice, they’re fairly easy to use, and fairly easy to clean.In the photo, the lighter color white is the marker that came with the acrylic calendar and has a nice fine tip. All the other colors are the markers I’m reviewing, so you can see the difference. The white at the bottom is a good comparison - it’s a much deeper color than the marker that came with, which looks grey in comparison, but you have to write a little bigger or the letters bleed together because of the thicker line.If it truly has an easy to use fine line tip, I would have given this 5 stars.

These are great chalk markers! They are very thick tips, but work well for car glass, dry erase, chalk boards, etc. The colors are vibrant!

My first time using chalk markers. I ordered these thin and then a thicker version.Both don't seem quite as opaque and vibrant as some I've seen other people using for their home and car windows. They work reasonably well.Figured these would be great for the holidays and general messages as well as in emergency if need to write on window at Hurricane time.
