Couldn't recommend these bad boys enough.
I've owned two HyperX headsets over the course of the last 6-7 years and don't think I'll ever buy another brand again. I am notoriously bad with headsets. These guys have been through it all. Used at minimum 8 hours a day, sometimes longer. Have left them outside in the rain, have sat/stepped on them numerous times, even once fell off a 2 floor balcony onto concrete...Nothing but a couple scratches. The first headset, despite being chewed up a bit (from both me and my dog) still worked flawlessly when I made the choice to upgrade to this guy. This one is just as amazing and even a little bit better. Battery life is INSANE and feels almost like a loophole in physics. The connection range is also massive, have worked on my lawn/backyard and never lose connection, even at the end of my driveway. Sound is crisp and buttons feel great to use. It's "slightly" more heavy than the previous versions, but wouldn't even consider that a flaw since it's more of a "solid build" heavy than a "bulky" heavy if that makes sense. Both super comfortable to wear for long period of times...to the point where I sometimes forget I'm wearing them till my wife puzzingly asks me "Why are you wearing those?".5 stars all around.

Best Headset I've Ever Owned
I decided to re-write my old review to again state how superb of a headset this is.Pros:-Mic quality is PEAK. In fact, it was the whole reason I bought it in the first place.-Battery life is top notch. I think the box advertises a 120 hour lifespan? If so, it's more than true. I can go a full week using it 8-16 hours a day and only have to charge it once for a few hours.-Very comfortable, probably the most comfortable headset I've owned. The earmuffs haven't fallen apart one bit which is surprising because of the pleather material they're made from-It's wireless, which is a big bonusCons:-There is no spitguard around the micpiece-Speaking of the micpiece, it's not a flip-up one. It's a 3.5mm detachable mic which for me I have no problem with but others might-I bought this thing back in October 2023 but not many people have written reviews about long-term ownership so let me beware you right now: The charging port cable *will* break with frequent abuse. After 3 years of dropping it on hardwood floors, hitting the sides on the screen by accident, and company being rough with it, the headset no longer charges due to the aforementioned charging port cable breaking. This is not a fault of HyperX but rather a user error that I still put under the cons section to let people know about. Treat this thing well and it can easily last you 5 years!

Wow! So this is what I've been missing.
The media could not be loaded. For the last few years, I've been rocking a cheap but decent gaming headphones that are wired with an audio jack and USB to power up the lighting effects. (90% of the time, I never bother to plug in that part of the cable. My biggest issue with my old headphones was the metal tension band that connects to each earphone. Anything that barely touched that metal and the sound was amplified 20x louder into my ears. The amount of times I snagged my all metal watch band against it would be a deafening reminder. So I'm in the process of redoing my gaming set up and one issue I have is the tangled mess of cables. I have a VR headset wired to my pc, wired Xbox controller, wired keyboard, wired HOTAS flight stick and throttle and a USB hub that had 4 type c cables and a micro USB cable for charging battery's and devices. When I opened the box I immediately put them on to test fit and WOW! The way the earohones cups and cradles my ears with the soft plushy foam cushions and the ambient sounds dropped to soft muffled hums. I wear glasses and my old set would dig the arms of my glasses against my ears and head and it would ache. Once I fell asleep accidentally and top of my right ear developed a bleeding sore. It's hard to explain it but these have a premium feel and the build quality is excellent. Comparing them both in each hand that the hyper x are heavier than my old pair but feels like a light fluffy cloud hugging my head. I'm using the USB dongle connection for the lowest latency wireless option and the charge has lasted me the weekend. The mic quality is so much better that all my online friends were blown away on the night and day difference of sound quality. Yesterday I was on a payphone and now it's like I'm in the same room. You get a type c to type c cable and a soft satiny draw string travel/storage pouch. On the left ear is the mic l, type c connecttion and behind that is both power and mute buttons. On the right ear is a scrolling volume wheel. It doesn't regulate the volume on the head set. It's synced to the Media volume control on my PC. The wheel has a resistance to it that's gives it a very smooth rotation to the touch. Please excuse the mess in the background, at the time of making this video, I was building a gaming desk and have already removed the wires keyboard, headphones and mouse from the tangled rats nest of cables .
