Is this a cold mist that dries by itself? Would you have to pay it dry after ?

Hi, having used the spray for outbreaks of venous dermatitis on my lower legs I have never found it necessary to pat it dry. That said I always leave my legs uncovered after spraying and have not timed how long the spray takes to dry.
