It is safe, secure, adjustable, no tools required.
This toilet safety support is perfect for its purpose. It is strong, adjustable, easily assembled & most importantly safe, secure support to sit on the toilet & get up as well. Given its multi-flexible number of adjustment settings it should fit most toilet areas. The legs are adjustable for height & laterally for width. Each leg has a wide rubber suction pad for stability. Every adjustment point is easy to move & secure for elderly with arthritic fingers. The two back braces that are located behind the toilet cover when you are seated, are padded with basic foam material to prevent scratching the seat cover.

Perfect for safety of my grandpa!
I recently purchased these toilet safety rails for my grandpa, who has been quite unstable since returning home from the hospital. I must say, they have been a game-changer for his safety and our peace of mind.**Installation**: The setup was straightforward and didn't require any tools, which made the process quick and hassle-free.**Stability**: The rails are incredibly sturdy and provide excellent support. My grandpa feels much more secure when using the toilet, and we no longer worry about him losing his balance.**Comfort**: The handles are padded, which adds a layer of comfort for my grandpa. The grip is also secure, preventing any slips.**Adjustability**: The rails are adjustable, making it easy to customize the height and width to fit our bathroom space perfectly.**Overall Experience**: These toilet safety rails have greatly improved my grandpa's independence and safety in the bathroom. They offer reliable support, are easy to install, and are comfortable to use. I highly recommend them to anyone caring for a loved one with mobility issues.

Very sturdy!
Sturdy, love that it is adjustable. Easy to install, quick delivery! The front suction hasn't worked so well but we are thinking that maybe we haven't installed incorrectly! Very sturdy metal, no plastic!

Very good but needs tweaks
I Iike:- easy to put together (if you're good at puzzles and don't forego reading the instructions.- good scale for small bathroom- easy to adjust- on lowest setting, makes for a nice arm rest while seated without interfering with arm movement for cleanup.I don't like:- the round back bar rubs toilet seat and in time leaves scratch or indent mark. (They say there are protective bumper guards to snap on but anything you'd add would cause toilet seat to fall down if not holding it back by being seated; that could startle and lead to a mess)- both above problems could be solved if back brace bar was flat.- feet can be switched from rubber end caps which are NOT adjustable for height to balance on uneven floor. The alternative, screw on suction feet ARE adjustable but do not suction if you have grouted tile floor, or do not stay suctioned if you press hard and get one foot to grip. They are hard and wide and present a tripping hazzard and don't keep cage from shifting which increases risk of seat falling closed. But, still, good value for price. Sturdy.

High quality metal construction, fully adjustable
As my Dad gets older, I have been outfitting his house with some apparatus to provide better safety and stability. This unit has high quality metal construction, is easy to assemble, and fits very well on most standard toilets, allowing the toilet seat cover to open fully. Comfortable padded hand rails provide stability to get on/off the toilet using arm strength to supplement leg strength. Fully adjustable width and height. Suction cups are provided as an option to secure the unit to a tile floor if needed. Very happy with this purchase, will likely get a second unit for another bathroom.

Great Product.
It was very easy to assemble, and the actual item is sturdier than what is shown in the picture. The fact that it is adjustable is a plus. It was purchased as a travel unit, so it will make hotel stays easier.

I had faltered after reading most of the 1 star reviews. But, in ordering and easily putting together this more than very firm safety rail, I found it surprisingly solid and usable for my aging wife. If there is a negative, it would be that yes, if "much weight" is put on one side 'only', it could tip. But, I’ve watched (and tried myself), and with her small frame, I doubt there will be any tipping. For us, the option of a 5" riser attached to the top of the toilet is not an option for my 5’ wife unless I were to built a step to the toilet; (no!). For those well over her short 110 lb frame, a ‘high rise’ may work fine. -- Now, as to the suction cups, no, they give no gain on our tile floor. Sure, the tubed rubber feet slip a might but it has been minimal. -- As to the sponge pads for the back rail, they are overly cheap and useless and I can't see anyone really using them; an insult to the solid frame. Their form and elasticity is a shame; 1 out of a best of 10. I will be purchasing a peace of 3/4 in. x 6 ft. Foam Semi-Slit Pipe Insulation to rather use from HD ($2.11). -- And no, the very 'solid' fitting adjustable back rail bars fit not behind the toilet seat on our toilet as they may for many. -- So, I unfeelingly give it all a 5 star because as in 'our' case, I'm more than impressed with how solid and usable the unit is. -- As to tipping, if side mount refillable water containers were to hang under the rail bar on each side, any sliding and or tipping very likely would be alleviated for taller and or heavier individuals. As for me, I even like using it "as is" for my ‘comfort’ and I need it not. To my surprise, I’d say, anyone heading into their 70’s or 80’s should have one! To the 90 year old, use both hands on the side rails to set down, or get up. For most that would be simple.
