Char-Broil140768 - 3 Piece Essential Grilling Tool-Set, Black/Stainless Steel, 41 x 12 x 3 cm

Arrived in a ridiculously long 4' box packed with paper and these jammed at the end. Took two of us to pull them out and one of us fell over during the process. Thought they'd sent me a blind at first! HahaGreat, strong and sturdy set by Charbroil. Far superior to any I looked at in the sets I've seen. Long handles to avoid getting too close to flames and heat. Washed up well. Downsides but no biggies for us are firstly, that you might struggle if you have small or weak hands as they are pretty hefty man bbq tongs with a strong pinch, and secondly they have no clip to hold the tongs together when not in use. We got round this by sizing a cable tie and slipping it over them. Brush works a treat for cleaning if you don't leave residue on the grates for too long after use. Spatula flips burgers well. Fits the burger nicely to avoid breakage. Would recommend. You might not get as many tools for the same price in the cheaper sets but they do the job well with no gimmics.

There really are well-made products. The brush is stiff yet doesn't scratch, the spatula offers great purchase and the tongs even have a cutting blade.So why didn't I give this bundle 5 stars? One reason only: the tongs are big - I mean really big - and they could have done with a clip to keep them closed while hanging.That's it. Otherwise, great buy!

Having bought similar and cheaper versions I have no regrets purchasing and recommending these to others.

recently bought a new Char-Broil BBQ and having read some of the info on heir website about cleaning the BBQ decided to go for this pack as it contained the cleaning brush as well as the cooking utensils. The cooking utensils are really nice and balanced and made very sturdy, should last for ages.The cleaning brush head has really thick, stiff nylon bristles which Char-Broil recommend when cleaning especially if you have the porcelain coated griddles. Suggested cleaning technique is to run the BBQ on full until all food residue has burned away, allow BBQ to cool down and then use this brush to clean off the grills etc and it works a treat.Definitely recommend this set as a great addition to any BBQ

Good quality, the only thing that isn't great is the brush.Not great at cleaning the bbq and it was the first time I used the bbq.

Bei gutem Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis zeigt sich allerdings, dass weder Verarbeitung noch Handhabung wirklich frei von Mängeln sind.Die Zange läßt sich nur sehr ungenau schliessen, so dass gerade kleineres Grillgut, insbesondere Gemüse, nur schwer greifen läßt und auch leicht zerdrückt werden kann.Die Bürste hält höheren Temperaturen nicht Stand und schmilzt. Natürlich ist eine Anwendung auf dem zu heissen Grillrost vielleicht nicht vorgesehen, aber es passierte nun einmal.Letztlich ist das Set dennoch in Anbetracht des guten Preises empfehlenswert, wenn man mit den kleinen Mängeln zurecht kommt.
