Review: This product is bullet proof, confirming trust and respect in solid German design and engineering. - A few months ago I bought a Leitz heavy duty stapler and was most impressed with its heavy duty performance. It sunk staples through a 70-page play I had printed off with ease without a single mis-fire. It also felt reassuringly solid in construction. So I thought it would be a pretty safe bet to order the Leitz heavy duty hole punch, right? Right indeed! This is a two-hole punch, and its build quality is very impressive - actually better than their HD stapler as the punch is manufactured from solid metal (aluminium the web states) and not a metal chassi covered in ABS. I have not tried to punch 65 sheets as it claims to be its maximum capacity so far but have tried a few wadges of 40 pages which it cut holes through without any hint of shirking or baulking. Its construction feels bullet proof. So, I am happy to give this a solid five stars. I also like Leitz because it is a German company, and I trust and respect solid German design and engineering. Excellent product. Review: Good Build Quality - Prior to ordering the Leitz 5180 2-Hole Punch, I was using another branded puncher, that had been held together by packing tape and a paper clip, having previously undergone various niggly repairs. The build quality was awful, and it only lasted one month of use before it's first snap. I've now had the Lietz 5180 2-Hole Punch for a few months, and it's still as smooth as the day I received it, slicing through wads of paper with apparent ease. The lever action is smooth, as is the release, and the handle/grip is superior to other punchers, meaning my hand doesn't slip off with a particularly tough punch, not that the Lietz 5180 seems to find any quality of paper/light card particularly tough to punch. The guide slights easily, but stays still when in a notch and I am impressed with the overall build quality; it doesn't feel cheap, and seems built to last. Basically, the Lietz 5180 is everything you expect in a 2-hole punch. ## Features - Robust metal two hole punch in red colour for up to 65 pages (80 gsm paper), for shop and office use, paper sizes (A4, A5, A6, folio, US-quart) and four hole punching capability using 888 position on guide bar - Punches up to 65 sheets, hole spacing 8 cm, hole diameter (5.5 mm), high quality sharp blades - Easy to use with less pressure thanks to patented grip zone and sharper hole stamps, practical strong guide bar with format markings ensures ideal paper alignment - 10 years guarantee, aluminium construction with plastic base that won’t mark furniture, quick to empty high capacity confetti tray, built-in mechanism to hold lever down for space saving storage, GS safety tested - Content: One Leitz hole punch 5180, red, 51800025, dimensions (W x H x D): 130 x 100 x 220 mm, two hole punching, weight: 1.1 kg ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000J6A3SE | | Best Sellers Rank | 503,001 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 497 in Punches (Home & Kitchen) | | Brand | Leitz | | Colour | red | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 1,994 Reviews | | EU Spare Part Availability Duration | 10 Years | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04002432364282, 04002432497126 | | Hole Count | 2 | | Hole count | 2 | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 22L x 13W x 10H centimetres | | Item Weight | 1000 Grams | | Item weight | 1000 Grams | | Manufacturer | Esselte Ltd | | Manufacturer Part Number | 51800025 | | Material | Aluminium , Metal, Plastic | | Model Number | 51800025 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Pin Hole Diameter | 5.5 Millimeters | | Product dimensions | 22L x 13W x 10H centimetres | | Sheet Count | 65 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Material:** Aluminium, Metal, Plastic - **Colour:** red - **Brand:** Leitz - **Product dimensions:** 22L x 13W x 10H centimetres - **Item weight:** 1000 Grams ## Images ![Heavy Duty Hole Punch, 65 Sheets, Guide Bar with Format Markings, Metal, 51800025 - Red - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61TT5HFrEEL.jpg) ![Heavy Duty Hole Punch, 65 Sheets, Guide Bar with Format Markings, Metal, 51800025 - Red - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71nR0JINuvL.jpg) ![Heavy Duty Hole Punch, 65 Sheets, Guide Bar with Format Markings, Metal, 51800025 - Red - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71sxvXfcm9L.jpg) ![Heavy Duty Hole Punch, 65 Sheets, Guide Bar with Format Markings, Metal, 51800025 - Red - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71aAILjV7wL.jpg) ![Heavy Duty Hole Punch, 65 Sheets, Guide Bar with Format Markings, Metal, 51800025 - Red - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81slwW2IJJL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Colour Name, Size Name** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This product is bullet proof, confirming trust and respect in solid German design and engineering. *by S***T on 18 November 2016* A few months ago I bought a Leitz heavy duty stapler and was most impressed with its heavy duty performance. It’s stunning how easy this thing goes through paper, like a hot knife through butter. And the built quality is great too. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ph/products/55249174-heavy-duty-hole-punch-65-sheets-guide-bar-with-format](https://www.desertcart.ph/products/55249174-heavy-duty-hole-punch-65-sheets-guide-bar-with-format) --- *Product available on Desertcart Philippines* *Store origin: PH* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
