Nishiki Steamed White Rice, 7.4-Ounce (Pack of 6)

I love this easy hack for when I am too tired to make rice. I just steam my veggies and through it right on top. Add a little seasoning. Done. The expiration dates are decent enough that you don't feel pressured to eat them immediately. Much cheaper and healthier than getting fast food when I am too tired to cook.

I bought this to try it out with the egg & shoyu sauce packets that my sister brought back from Japan. I don't eat rice regularly so this was the perfect office solution. I was worried about mold after reading some of the reviews, but the ones I received were good. I’d definitely recommend this rice. As you can see the photos, it was the perfect amount for one sauce packet! If you like it saltier, then 2 packets per rice bowl should work. I also plan to eat it with a tuna packet and some kewpie mayo. Again, great for the office since it’s shelf stable!

It is what is says it is. Very simple to cook, about 90 seconds and it is done. I put some seasoning and/or soy sauce on it and make a nice snack for the middle of the day.

These rice bowls are perfect for on the go meals. They heat up in just a minute and a half to a perfectly cooked temperature. I love having these on hand when I am only cooking for one because it saves a lot of extra work and time when I don't have multiple people to cook for. These pair perfectly with something like sweet and sour chicken or beef and broccoli. I'd recommend these for at home or keeping at work for a quick meal.
