I am not a professional, and this is clearly a professional level tool. He's gone mainly from paint finishing to refacing kitchen cabinets. Which is not as popular to do any more, but it is fast & easy work. Very clean also, no more over spray all over the place and on one's self. It takes a little getting used to adjusting this tool to every laminate sheet that are different brands & texture. My friend almost gave up on this tool till I should him how to used it, and he's the expert lol. Till I bought this tool early this year, my friend had been cutting laminate strip using his portable table saw at the customers home, which was messy.
