100% worth it.
Easy height adjustments, great size (fully adjustable ) great build quality (honestly was expecting these to break on me) and super easy to use.I don't usually go out with hiking sticks, but I'm soo glad I bought these and tried them out. They make life so much easier in the knees (I'm mid 30s always been into extreme sports etc so I have good legs and good stamina) but still even with my fitness these honestly make a huge difference, both in the knees and with balancing through dodgy terrain, can also test depth of any water you come across and you can use these as supports to your tarp.I don't know why I've spent all these years without them, I feel like these could have made a huge difference on many occasions.100% worth the money.

Lightweight sturdy pole
Easy to open & secure, very lightweight. Not quite as sturdy as my telescopic pole but does a great job.

Good poles but hopeless instructions on use
The instructions are written in mis-translated Chinese, and thus are very unclear. Trial and error achieves the desired end result, but no need to waste so much time. An easy problem for the seller to fix for almost no cost

Dangerous equipment
The cable that holds the pole together snapped during the third day (the third time I had used the poles) of a hike in the High Atlas causing the pole to suddenly fall apart. This could have been extremely dangerous had I not been on level ground. This is the second set of Overmont poles that has had issues with the cable. The plastic sheath over the cable on the first set (from a different supplier) came off on the second use, making it impossible to open the pole up, however I liked the weight and ease of assembly so decided to give them a second try. I now think there is a design fault with the cables and that these poles are dangerous.

light, easy to carry in a small bag, sturdy
Very light walking poles. One of the stick sometimes doesn't fold so easily, and get stuck, but the overall quality is good. I was looking for a foldable easy to carry and light walking poles and I got what i wanted. I recommend them

Light, comfortable
2 poles survived a 24mile walk in the dales, in the rain.Lost 2 rubber feet in mud. Fit feet and hit them on hard!Comfortable and light enough to carry both assembled in 1 hand when you don't need the support. They'll also make good tent poles for a tarp/bivvy.They're easily upgraded to carbon lowers with 14mm(12mm id) + epoxy if you're adventurous in the DIY department. Over time I'll expect the aluminium to have fretting at the joints, but the 3 sections are under compression when assembled so not a big worry. Carbon just makes you cooler.

Pole collapsing in use as joints not lockable
Disappointing functionalityInitially these poles seemed to work well. However on my first long walk along canal towpaths one of the poles keept collapsing. The joints are simply push in with only friction to hold them. One joint was loose, hence it's coming apart roughly every half mile. In the end I jammed the pole together with a shred of thin rubber glove. It worked so well it is now impossible to completely collapse the pole. With further use I expect the other joints to also work loose. Very disappointing.I won't buy poles with this type of non locking joint again despite the compact, rucksack friendly size.
