Totally worth getting the bundle, don't wait, get it especially on sale. I love it.
Id definitely suggest getting one for yourself with solar panels and the extra battery. With that said, I use this for my CPAP machine mainly when the power goes out. I also use it for powering my TV, Xbox One S (now Xbox Series X), a light, a fan, and to charge 2 or 3 phones with the main unit, and then I use the backup battery for the CPAP machine just to be safe, but I have never had it drop low enough for it to be needed for sure. It is alot lighter than I originally thought it would be which makes it easier to move, but it's still heavy. I can move it with 1 hand, but it can be awkward at times. The display screen definitely helps know how long it will last with what is plugged in, the capacity that remains, and how much is being used currently. It has a good capacity size with busy the base generator, but the extra battery is definitely worth getting. The solar panels work well, although it can be less useful with the other seasons, but in the PNW of the US, it gets 75 watts towards the end of summer during the 3rd quarter of the daytime, using 1 panel. It seems to be really durable and strongly built. Id definitely buy another one if I had the funds. I would also buy more batteries for it too. The capability of having extra batteries is amazing as they can be swapped out or matched up together. You have to have the extra battery connected to the base generator to use it or charge it. I can't wait to get another one of their generators to try them out. They are definitely worth the money. Try not to let this generator pass by, especially if you see it on sale, or even at a big store on discount. Well worth the money. Quick and easy to setup too, and you can use your Bluetooth on your devices after downloading an app to connect to the generator to adjust some settings and check on it from your devices.

Jackery 1000 Plus: A Lifesaver at Home and on the Road
Living in the Tampa area, where lightning strikes and power outages are just part of life, I needed something solid to keep my work-from-home software consulting gig running smoothly. That’s where the Jackery 1000 Plus comes in, and honestly, it's been a total game changer. First off, this thing is sturdy and compact, fitting perfectly in my home office (see pic). When the power goes out, it's a lifesaver. I can keep working like nothing happened, which is pretty awesome. The best part for me? The USB C ports. I can plug my Mac directly into it, no adapter needed. Super handy! And during extended outages I know that it can also keep our refrigerator going for hours. We love road trips, and the Jackery comes along for the ride. It powers our portable fridge, keeping snacks and drinks cool without a fuss. And making a cup of tea, ramen noodles or what have you at a rest stop with our mini kettle - pure bliss. We've also used it to run our mini-crockpot, having a hot meal ready at the end of the day while on the road is a real treat. It's these little comforts that turn a regular road trip into a real adventure. Another impressive aspect is the solar charging capability. While I haven't had to use it extensively, knowing that I can harness solar power in prolonged outage situations or on the road offers an added layer of security and independence from the grid. So yeah, whether it's keeping my business afloat during an outage or making road trips more fun, the Jackery 1000 Plus is a winner in my book. It's reliable, easy to use, and versatile – a top-notch choice for anyone who needs power on the go or at home.

17.5 Cubic Ft top freezer/refrigerator
We used our Jackery 1000 Explorer Plus generator to keep the refrigerator going in case of another power outage. We had 3 days without power after an EF2 tornado came through our city. A week after the storm, we ran the refrigerator off the generator during the day, but shut it down at night. Doing that allowed the refrigerator to cool with the generator for over 24 hours. The nice thing is, instead of investing in solar panels (which I have) we used our gas generator to recharge this model in under 2 hours. Something to consider, you may find a lack of sunlight for days after these bigger storms pass through. Plus, recharging a generator with a $600 dollar gas generator is more cost effective than spending $1200 to $2400 in solar panels. The fast charging feature of this Jackery model was an important selling factor. Recharging as much as 1200 watts an hour, the generator adjusted the wattage down, based on the generator temperature. I'm guessing the wattage regulating kept the generator from getting hot. The weight of the generator allowed for easy mobility for my wife, if I'm not around. She can easily lift and set the generator on the counter; allowing her to plug the refrigerator into the generator. The collapsing handle is sturdy, and allows for stacking. I'm already looking at the 1000 W Explorer Plus to expand and allow for 2 days of power for our refrigerator. I originally started with the Jackery 500 with a solar panel, and have become a believer in this product as in alternative source of power during emergencies. We live in an apartment complex, and while many people sat in their cars to charge their cell phone's, we were running fans and enjoying iced drinks. With the cost of groceries going up, you may find 1 or 2 blackouts covering the cost of one of these generators. In three years, this has been our second power outage that lasted longer than 2 days. Great investment! July 4th 2024: Cool app features: I'm able to ajust the charge rate extending recharge time, but lowering the idle of the gas generator. This lowers fuel consumption and the gas generator decibel level. The charge rate only raises by 2 hours, giving a full 1000 watt charge in 3 hours. Very impressive!

This powers my mini fridge for an 8 hour trip. Haven’t even tried the solar yet (which should have longer cables). Otherwise this works well

Easy to operate and dependable.

Great package, nothing bad to say other then the lighter 12 volt plug in for charging should come with it to charge it for back country camping

Hefty to move but will keep your average sized fridge running at least a full day. I bought extra solar panels to link together.

Super excited about this. Small but mighty. Have power from my truck for big things. small genie for incidentals and now the solar Jackery to keep the basics like lights running. Ready for power outage without spending a fortune on a Generac.
