Actually bought these to clean long hair out of our vacuum cleaner. Works wonderfully. However these are strong and well made—no different than a hospital uses.

I use these things for all kinds of small projects, very handy and the curved tip is also good, I have a straight one as well.

Very sturdy. I didn't by it for medical use, but as a locking plier for hardware type use. It worked great.
