Amazing acupuncture pressure pad for pain relief
Fantastic acupuncturer pressure pad for any pain relief sciatica knee foot back etc. Absolutely amazing 100% would definitely recommend. I had really bad trapped nerve in my left foot and nothing not even strong pain relief would even touch the excruciating stabbing and throbbing pain in my foot. Until I put this acupuncture pressure pad on my left leg below my knee, WOW!! The pain subsided in minutes and so much relief for me unbelievable relief. This pad does as described and more. Many thanks Dennis.

Jury's Still Out
I do suffer from sciatica so I thought I'd give this a try as an alternative to pain killers. It's fairly easy to get on and off and when set properly is comfortable and stays put. I did have some problems finding the right spot and honestly, I'm still not 100% sure I have. The materials are durable and it's machine washable which speaks well for durability. As to whether it works or not, I'm still undecided and think I need some more time to try it out before giving a really definitive answer. The whole thing relies on getting it on just the right spot and that's easier said than done. I suspect that more experience with using it will give me that answer but of course, that means waiting for another bout, not something to necessarily look forward to that much!!I do 'think' it helps and it may well be that it's a placebo effect at the end of the day but if that placebo effect can neutralise the misery of sciatica, then I'm all for it and will carry on trying it out.

Might work for slight pain
I got this for both myself and my wife to try as we both suffer with bad backs, but in varying degrees. I tried it first and found the instructions easy to follow, with both written and pictorial ones. The band is easy to fit with a large L/R, that is to be facing upwards depending on which leg it is used on. I found it gave me minimal relief from my sciatic pain, but my wife who has had a lot of surgery on her back, found the band didn't offer any relief for her complex spinal issues. At £19.95 at the time of writing this review, it could be that bit extra pain relief that you need, and I can only assume it works differently for different people, and at this price (not far off 2 prescription charges), it's got to be worth a try if normal medication isn't getting rid of all the pain.

Waste of money
Bought this as the write up said it can help with sciatic pain. It doesn’t, and like a lot of companies, falsely advertising is no different here.Have followed the instructions implicitly and located the correct pressure point as advised, unfortunately it hasn’t made a blind bit of difference. I’m still in agony and can barely walk without the need to sit down every minute or so due to the pain.Despite trying this and other online recommendations it looks like surgery is the most viable option for me.Unless you have a muscular sporting injury where this strap support might help, avoid if you are looking for sciatica relief as it really doesn’t work!

Good support for general wearing but for me not for sports
This knee relief pad from D Health Tech is well made and is comfortable to wear and when fitted in the right place and to the right tightness the pressure pad does bring some relief. The knee brace has a L and a R to show which way round you need to have it when putting it on dependent upon what leg you will be wearing it. Basically the L or the R needs to be upright and facing forwards with the letter just to the inside you’re your mid knee (please see photos)- this then means that the pressure pad is somewhere near the outside of your upper calf. Then with the very generously sizes strap you can get the tightness and the position that feels most comfortable for the pressure pad.The only comment I would make on this is whilst the images on Amazon show people playing sports whilst wearing it, for me this is more suited to wearing at other times through the day for pain relief, which is when I will use it. I will continue to wear my sports support when running etc because whilst my sports support does not have the pressure pad this has it is more streamlined and still gives good compression.

Good
Using the band gave me some relief from my lower back pain. Solid mounting means that the product stays in place even during exercise. The band can be used on both the right and left calf, depending on the location of the pain. The size of the band is universal. It is nice to use, but it is not a medical equipment. I recommend.
