Some things don’t need a review. It is rattail cord. It is black. :)My error, I didn’t look at thickness when I ordered it and expected it to be as thick as my current cord. To my surprise, it was thinner. The upside - I have projects I have put off because my cord was too thick. Turns out to be a happy error. Gotta love those. :)

I've already made several heart pendant necklaces using this silk cord instead of chains. I like cord because some women are allergic to certain metals. Anyone can wear these very light, feminine, casual looking cords. I'm very pleased with this purchose.
