Now This is a SMART JUICER and So Quiet!
Since it looks like I am one of the first customers to write a review about this juicer, I am going to write a longer review than I normally would since I like this product so much. When I get up in the morning I like to start my day off with a good tall glass of fresh orange juice, but I used to have to wait until my wife woke up to do this as my old juicer made so much noise that it would wake her up. Recently I started shopping for a new juicer online and stumbled onto a blog about how quiet this Eco-pure juicer was and found the best price on Amazon so I bought it immediately. After I received the unit, I peeled a couple of oranges, turned the juicer on and in about 2 minutes I had a nice cold glass of orange juice to drink and yes it was much quieter than my old one. So now my mornings consist of 1 glass of juicer first thing in the morning while my wife sleeps peacefully. The following are my Pros, Tips and Cons:Pros:1) Quiet Running - of course.2) This juicer comes with an extra strainer (2 in all) - note that they both have the same size holes in them. What's nice about this is after making some orange juice for myself, I can just pop out the strainer I just used, rinse the juicing head off real quick in hot water (this part is real easy to clean and/or rinse), pop in the extra strainer and make my wife a glass of tomato juice in about 3 minutes.3) The cleaning brush that is included works quite well and makes clean up very easy. Although I normally wash all of the parts with Dawn & hot water, you can put this in the dishwasher excluding the main power unit of course.4) This unit has what the manufacturer calls a Flow Control Valve which I have never seen on a juicer before, but it's a great feature. If you put too much fruit (or whatever you are juicing) into the hopper and your juice cup is getting too full, all you have to do is flip this little valve closed on the bottom of the head and it will stop the juice from flowing out. Put another glass or juice cup below the output and flip it open again to start filling your second glass.5) I really cannot give you a percentage of yield from any certain fruit or whatever you want to juice, but I can tell you that you will like the amount of juice that you get out of whatever you are juicing. I set the yield control dial on the front of the head at 5 and was quite pleased with the dryness of the pulp and the amount of juice I got out of 1 orange.Tips: For those of you who do not read instructions, like me, Please Read Them when you get this product before you use it the first time!1) This juicer has an Anti Jam Auto-Reverse built into the electronics of the unit. If you are juicing and pushing so much down the chute that it jams up and the auger stops, it will automatically stop by itself due to the pressure, reverse for a couple of seconds to unclog the jam and then stop to protect the unit from breaking or overheating. If this happens, all you have to do is wait for about 15 to 30 seconds and turn it back on to continue juicing. I might add that this happened to me while I was juicing carrots for my wife one night and I thought the unit broke, but then I read the instructions (as I should have in the first place) and found out that all I had to do was push On button again.2) Note that this unit will run for a total of 20 minutes and then shut off automatically to make sure it does not burn out the motor or brushes. Again, all you have to do is turn it back on again after 15 to 30 seconds and continue juicing.3) Whenever you want to run the unit in reverse, it is IMPORTANT to note that you have to hold the reverse switch down for a couple of seconds to make it go into reverse and keep holding it down while using reverse. This is a safety feature and stops people from pushing the reverse switch while it is going forward and ruining the unit. Of course the only time you will want to run a juicer in reverse is if you get too much pulp built up in the front of the juicing head.Cons:Absolutely not one problem yet, but I will revise my review if I ever have a problem. All I have to add to the above is Buy One of These as you will not be Sorry!Bryan

I really like this juicer.
This is the first juicer I've ever purchased. I was a little nervous that it wouldnt be very good at first, but most of the reviews for it were positive. After i started using it though, i really enjoy it. You have to cut the fruita and veggies up before you feed them in, though. Some kinds of apples get mashed up and the "sauce" builds up in the juicer head with the auger, but it usually clears out when you feed more fiberous veggies like celery through it. Ive been noticing lately that the auger kinda squeaks as it juices some veggies and the whole juicing head will kinda move as it juices the produce as well. I havent had any problems with it not working, though. Im pretty happy with this as a cheap, starter juicer for the beginners like myself.

This is a FANTASTIC juicer!
Great brand and great seller! This juicer is similar in design to one of my other favorite kitchen time-savers, the STX meat grinder. STX International Model STX-3000-TF Turboforce Electric Meat Grinder & Sausage Stuffer Kit - Size #12 - 3 Grinding Plates, 3 Blades, 3 Sausage Stuffing Tubes & Kubbe Attachment It is simple to assemble, use, and clean. It has a nice small footprint and is lightweight and with the inverted handle is very easy to pick up and move. The first thing you will notice and appreciate is how quiet this is! I have an older power juicer that drowns out all other sounds and makes conversation impossible when it's running. I am excited to replace my old juicer with this amazing machine! Some of the other features I love in comparing the two machines: STX is smaller, sleeker design, quiet, no sharp exposed blade, much easier to clean, no special tools needed to tighten or loosen a blade, no small crevices to work pulp out of when cleaning, round plunger that you don't have to line up to fit only one possible way, and certain red/orange veggies don't stain the parts. You get more juice and less waste with this machine, and overall is a much cleaner process from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Easy to use but results not good!
Dissappointed. This juicer does not totally liquify or strain. Leaves way too much pulp in the juice.

Not up for a challenge.
It's okay for the price, but doesn't really work that well. If you juice anything with any fiber to it, you will have to stop and clean the whole thing a few times before you finish one pineapple. Things I juiced were: Apples, oranges, pineapples. carrots, wheat grass, kale, watermelon and strawberries. All of these were challenging for this unit to process. Wheat grass and pineapple were the worst to juice. One was too small for the unit and just spit out grass with barely and juice. Pineapple was far far too much fiber for the unit and it clogged immediately. If you only do apples, oranges and watermelon, you'll be happy with this. It is at least fairly easy to clean but the plastic parts didn't feel substantial either. Good luck.

Not what I was hoping
Not enough juice from the fruit. Just not as good as I had hoped. I feel like I'm wasting fruit 😢

Good for weekly use, not for daily, or heavy duty use.
Well I bought at it nearly 100 bucks more than it is now, so I hate that. There is a part, where the juice backs up and doesn't go into the cup, it's right above the drain. The juicer is okay for occassionaly use, but my mom needed a juicer to fight cancer, she has to drink 64 ounces of juice a day. This juicer is wearing out. But she uses it daily. It's not as fast as it first was, like I said, it's not a heavy duty juicer. She's gonna buy one that's commercial grade. It makes a loud noise when doing cabbage. It does a good job but she has to chase it with water to get the build up out above the drain in that section.
