Deliberate Optimism: Still Reclaiming the Joy in Education

The first half of the book is good as it comes with both practical actions and stories. More than that, in the first part of the book, you can find parallels to optimism and, according to the title, optimism is an important part of the topic this title approaches. But from the 3rd or 4th principle on, the book gets boring, with general advice or advice specific to teachers (not to teachers & leaders).If you are a teacher, you'll probably find many interesting things inside this book. If you are just researching optimism (as I am), this book shouldn't be your first read.
