There are very few cold pressed pellets to choose from. This is key for the retention of nutrients that I am looking for. I appreciate that they make many sizes for my multiple bird from the very tiniest nibbles for canary size birds to very large birds. They all like it

yeah my 2 parakeets love it, a bag lasts a while for them too. the size is great for them, not too big. i wish they didn't leave behind so many powdery crumbs, though. i'm wondering if i should go for the smaller size or crush these up.it smells like of vegetable-y, like greens. not bad and not strong, only if you stuff ur nose into the bag will you smell it. it also comes in a sturdy resealable bag.

I have 3 birds and have been feeding this to them for over a year now. I 100% recommend this, its healthier then most other options and a fair price, the switch to this food was also incredibly easy! My babies love ot.

I'm glad I found this food. I've always been disappointed with the Zupreem Fruit Blends. Mind you, I think Zupreem is a good food, but my budgies would waste even the tiniest canary-sized food because the nuggets are so hard that they crack when the birds eat. Half the nugget falls to the bottom of the cage, so it's wasted. Also, I don't think the food coloring is necessarily good for the birds.With Roudybush, the smallest size--Nibles--are still a bit large for my budgies. But, the food crumbles are softer, so even the tiniest little crumbs are not wasted. They fall apart in the food bowl and don't crack all over or end up on the bottom of the bird cage. I think my birds like their food because they make more noise now and get "roudy" if the bowl is empty.

I've been buying these pellets for my cockatiels for many years, I'm always happy, and they're always happy. Good nutrition, and a good size that they don't ping too much. I did get one bag recently that started crumbling to dust, hopefully that was just a fluke. Edit 4/2025: The one bad bag was a fluke, bags since have been great. I do love how little waste there is and how healthy my boy seems with this as a major part of his diet.

Recommended by our bird vet and the only pellet food we've fed for decades. Have used the appropriate size for every bird from American Parakeet to Amazon. Vet said all top brands are the same and Roudy is not as expensive as some others.
