## Description

Product Description Ronseal Fence Life Plus+ Sage 5L, 5 Year Long Lasting Protecion, All Weather Protection, Sticks to Damp Wood, Brush or Spray on, For all Sheds and Fences also Showerproof in 1 Hour Directions Fence Life Plus can be applied with either a brush or sprayer. When brushing, check that you’re happy with the colour by applying it to a small hidden patch and leaving it to dry. If you are happy with the colour, get loads of Fence Life Plus on your brush. Apply a thick coat. Leave four hours for the first coat to dry. Check the fence to see if you need to apply another. When spraying, pour the Fence Life Plus into the tank. Pump up your sprayer or turn it on and start spraying. Use long, sweeping horizontal arm movements. Move along the full width of the fence panel, drop down and do the same again. Overlap each pass by 50% for the best coverage.

Review: Good stuff! - I have a 20-year old fence that hadn't been painted in at least the past 5 years making the wood very "thirsty", so it actually took 3 coats to get it to look 100% covered. You'll know when you get there because the colour suddenly deepens and the finish takes on a nice eggshell sheen. Was it worth the effort and expense? Absolutely! With the minor repairs I made along the way, it really does look like a brand new fence now from a sensible distance, and I doubt it'll need painting again for a good few years to come. Two of my neighbours have told me how nice it looks now, so that made it doubly worth it. It's dead easy to apply with a cheap brush and not much more expensive than the standard Fence Life paint, so I'd highly recommend this product if you're aiming for professional looking results from a DIY job.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to apply, dries quickly.

Great coverage, dries quickly. Great finish. Easy to apply with fence brush. Good quality fence paint. Leakes a little. Prepare area beforehand to avoid small leakage drips.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ More grey leaning in colour than warm stone...
*by G***T on 13 September 2026*

I always rate ronseal products. The quality, the consistency and drying time is second to none. This is no exception. It's super easy to apply, went onto to the wood well, only took a few coats and dried quickly in-between. My only bugbear is that I wouldn't call the colour warm stone. It's much more grey leaning. I painted the area in my sunny south facing garden so was surprised that it looked so grey. It's a lovely colour but definitely not a warm stone.
