Only had it about a week but it seems to work well for high temp vinyl on hats. I used the heat setting. The form provided doesn't work with the hats I've purchased on Amazon so I use a inflatable ball which is fairly heavy duty rubber and about 7" in diameter. Good value for $ imho.

This is an interesting heat press. Of course I have an iron and ironing board. I also have a large heat press with a pressure clamp and I have a couple of small heat presses. What's one more, right? Plus, I dabble in hat making. So I tried this guy out. I like that it has a curve in it for pressing in the shape. I also like that it has its own stand, which is what you want when something is blistering hot. I like this little guy. He isn't a must-have, but he sure is handy.

I am returning this product less than 4 hours after receiving it. First there are no assembly instructions. I figured it out but it was complicated by the fact that one screw was stripped. The "stand" is not sturdy enough to get any real pressure. The only way I could get siser htv to stick to a cotton hat was to fill the hat with towels, hold the "press" on the outside and then apply pressure from both sides. A method I have done before using my household iron. I purposely purchased this to avoid that route. It's boxed up and ready to go back.

I've been wanting to try to make hats now that I've gotten the hang of sublimation printing. This was simple to use and I love that they include the gloves because it gets hot!
