But after a few months of holding my SM7B, I noticed the arm started sagging, even after tightening the hinge. That said, I’ve had this same issue with several other boom arms, so I’m not too disappointed — it seems to be a common problem with heavier mics. For lighter setups, it’s great. For something like the SM7B? Be prepared to adjust it often.
