I’m a big fan of using different oils on my skin year round. I’ve used Jojoba oil plenty of times but find I really like this oil more. It must have something to do with this being all natural and cold pressed that makes it stand out more over other Jojoba oils I’ve tried.I’ve been using this oil on my facial skin as well as my scalp! At times I tend to have an inflamed itchy scalp. No matter what hair products I’m using at the time, I still get that annoying itchy scalp! Over the weekend, I used the oil on my scalp and it really calmed the itch. It actually removed the itch altogether which is a Huge Plus! Even though this is oil, as long as I’m carful and apply it only directly to my scalp, it doesn’t leave behind any greasy appearance at all! I know I got some of the oil on my hair as well, but even doing that it didn’t make my hair look bad, not noticeable at all!I’ve been using the oil on my facial skin as well. It doesn’t take much of product to cover my facial skin. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave behind any greasy appearance! If you use too much oil at a time, it will take longer for the oil to be absorbed, so just go lightly and it will absorb quickly. Since using this oil, I haven’t experienced any irritations on my skin, big plus! This oil is USDA certified Organic as well as Not tested on animals.I Do Recommend this Quality Made Jojoba Oil. It’s working great for my needs and it’s priced affordably! Jojoba has been around for a long time, and just never tried it out. This is a high quality, very pure organically certified version. It's very thick, no aroma (yay!) and you just pour it into your hand and apply.I've used it on back of hands and was amazed by the instantly visible and long lasting effect of anti-aging and skin smoothing I witnessed after my very 1st use. I work with surgical gloves and do mega-handwashing at work. Dry skin on hands and fingers for sure! After one application, back of hands looked like the most amazing right before my eyes age erased and looked like my hands before the signs of age and work related abuse started to show, really smooth and young look and feel. Also used on fingernails and cuticles/fingers and wow am I happy!You can mix with a moisturizer and apply, but I am currently using straight up on skin.I'm going to also try , but haven't yet , the scalp and hair application to see how that works out, dry hair, seasonal shedding, scalp sometimes itchy, thinking this is got to be a better remedy than harsh shampoos which could actually be promoting all that I wish to correct.This jojoba oil is nice and absorbs very quickly, eliminating the dread thought of dealing with a really greasy oil, which this is not.Very impressed with this products capabilities and liking the anti-oxident effects of essentially turning back time on my hands & arms so far, I'm eager to see it's full potential!Not cheap, very clean product, says USDA on label, and I'm abundantly impressed with my results so far!

This product works great for moisturizing my hair and scalp. I use it every week rotating with my regular oils.

I haven't used jojoba of this quality before, so I was interested in giving it a try. I was a little disconcerted to see several stickers covering the box, including a "cautions" sticker placed directly on top of the "precautions" area (minus one star).After removing the sticker carefully, I could see the precautions pre-printed on the box: "1. If skin develops abnormal symptoms and side effects such as red spots, swelling and itching while using the product, or if the application area develops the symptoms above after exposure to direct sunlight, consult your dermatologist. 2. Do not use on open wounds. 3. Storage & Handling: (1) keep out of reach of children. (2) Keep away from direct sunlight."The sticker that covered this area indicated you should begin by using one-two drops three times a week at most.The bottle doesn't come with a dropper, just a restrainer (minus one star). The oil itself is mostly unscented; when I put it up to my nose there's a walnut odor but it's not overwhelming.I am a little overwhelmed, though, by the cautions - I've never used a moisturizing product that had me limit usage to a few drops a week. Especially when the printing on the box says "use on dry areas as needed." The National Institute of Medicine has posted a study on organic cold press Jojoba that has found no toxicity, so I'm not sure why the limited use advisory - or the conflicting instructions on the box. Since the product is known to address minor scalp issues, and mine itches at night, I'll probably start there. The package labelling is definitely challenging on this product.

There are certain things I expect from a moisturizer, especially one at this price. I expect it to soak into my skin and penetrate to moisturize deeply, leave my skin soft but not greasy or sticky and it ought to smell great too. This jojoba oil misses on all counts. It starts out like an oily coating on the surface of my skin. In that regard, it does manage to "glue down" any visibly dry flakes on my skin. But is doesn't soak in at all. It feels sticky and slimy for a long time. When it does finally dry, my skin feels almost like I'd used an astringent-soft but dried out. It is unscented as far as I can tell.I get much better results from an AHA or hyaluronic acid serum than with this oil. Save your money and look elsewhere.
