Surprisingly heavy!
Everyone says the Tungsten cube is surprisingly heavy. You go in expecting it and it’s still SURPRISINGLY heavy. It weighs over 11oz or almost 2x what a lead cube the same size would weigh. It’s dense enough that it seems odd to handle it, making it a great adult fidget. At $60 it’s not cheap but anyone with a math-science mind will appreciate this as a gift. Also makes a great high-price yankee swap gift. The faces are nice and flat. The print (I think it’s applied print, not etching) is clean looking. The quality and appearance does hold up for the price.

Good, quiet, adult ADHD fidget
I did polish up the faces a little bit, on a flat surface with an index card loaded with compound. Can verify the letters are etched, not applied.Corners are pointy, but not sharp, edges are crisp, but again, not sharp. The contrast between smooth faces, and pointy corners is enough in the hand to keep the ADHD side of my brain settled out, silently... as long as I don't slip and drop it on the wooden table in meetings.

Frivolous purchase I am glad I made. Would make a good gift for those in the STEM fields.
My 14yr old grandson brought these cubes to my attention, and I decided to order one for him and one for me. I also got two aluminum cubes for us both as well, so we could have a very light cube and a heavy cube for comparison.I have a family full of Engineers, and math geeks and they all are amused with these little cubes. I have both cubes sitting on my desk, next to each other and it never gets old watching the reaction when someone picks up the tungsten cube and realize how deceptively heavy it is. Even better if they pick up the aluminum cube first. The cubes themselves are well made and the graphics are distinct and easy to read. These cubes would make a nice gift for someone who is in the STEM fields, and hard to buy for. My grandson is equally impressed with his set. Eventually I will probably buy a few more elements to add to the collection.

It's a Tungsten Cube
What can I say? It's a cube of tungsten. Looks good. I did buy two, a short time apart. One weighed 312.7 g and the other weighed 312.9 g (Quite remarkable for a machined part). Don't know how accurate my scale is. The finishes are slightly different (polishing sheen). Theoretically: 16.387 cm3/in3 x 19.25 g/cm3 = 315.44975 g

A bit rough but still awesome
If you've never handled one, these kilo blocks of tungsten are awesome. This one has a rougher surface than the other popular one on Amazon, and with sharper edges, so I knock off a star for that, but it is priced right.

The perfect gift
Perfect gift for slightly nerdy younger brothers. While the functionality of a solid Tungsten cube is limited, it is a neat piece to add to your desk display, and it is way heavier than you may think it would be.

Exactly as described (mostly) and a neat toy, but an expensive one
The accuracy to which the cube is machined is perfect. Right on the dot at 1.500 inches, maybe 0.0001 - 0.0002 inches oversized. At this resolution, simply holding the cube in your hand for a few minutes and warming it up will change the dimensions. Weight is 1062 grams on my kitchen scale. Obviously my kitchen scale doesn't have a NIST-traceable calibration, and I don't mind that it's slightly overweight. The flimsy, thin plastic storage box that it came in was completely destroyed in shipping. Dear manufacturer / seller: if you're reading this, please include a much sturdier box, or none at all. It's simply a waste of resources (i.e. my money) to use the one you currently do.The price... Well, it's certainly much cheaper than some other identical offerings here on Amazon, and I looked thoroughly, both here and off-site. This was the best deal I could get, but I still have buyer's remorse. It's a lot of money for a cube that sits on your desk and does nothing, especially considering the bulk price of tungsten is about $30/kg.
