Yakamoz1/2 Inch Shank Rabbeting Router Bit with 6 Bearings Set for Multiple Depths 1/8", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2"

A good solid router bit but the allen key that came with it didn't fit the screw holding the bearing very well. The screw was very tight and I needed to change the bearing but the key ended up slipping in the screw. It felt like a metric key in an imperial screw: not a tight fit and easy to round over the corners of the key. I found a key from some other router bits and managed to loosen the screw but it was a frustrating 20 minutes to get it sorted.Works perfectly now!

Disappointing product as the Allen headed bolt was so firmly attached that it was impossible to remove in order to change the bearings.The supplied Allen key stripped the bolt's hexagonal socket rendering it useless. Even a mole wrench firmly clamped on the bolt head would not remove it.Returning for a refund.PS, the TCT inserts are extremely thin too, more than they look in the photos.

Overall this is an effective rebate router bit, the quality is not fantastic bu it has successfully cut my rebates in ASH. It has a good range of bearings to control the depth of cut, and comes with an allen key.

Very useful for cutting a rebated track in the bottom of some Oak doors, used for installing a sliding door guide. Had no problem going through the Oak in stages and left a perfect finish. Cutter is still razor sharp ready for some more odd jobs!

Impossible to remove bearing (to use different depths) as Allen key continually slips and appears to be the wrong size so only able to use the blade as is

Not sure about this product, cheap as it is.. the two largest bearings rub on the edges of both blades. (see photo) Is this a defect? Also, tightening up the grub screw locks the bearing, preventing it from turning.

Have cut a 10mm x 16mm deep rebate in 400m of Oak, made with 4 passes at different depths. Cutter shows no wear (although I will touch the edge up with a diamond sharpener before my next job just to maintain maximum sharpness) and cuts are very neat. The bearings are interchangeable with other cutters I have giving greater flexibility. Very pleased with purchase.
