Bought these post holders to enable me to erect a platform on steeply sloping ground. The holders are good quality and robust but you need to be working in reasonably stone free soil in order to hammer them ( using a wood block in the post holder ) into the ground to the required depth. I found it useful to use a heavy pointed crowbar to prepare a starter hole before installing and hammering in the post holders. The 4 units were well packed and were delivered on time and I felt they were very good value for money.

Tthe price is comparable to similar items it seem good quality metal and is fairly easy to use

Good price and well made but not the best fit for the posts i had to pack out the posts at the bottom , only used the met posts to hold up trellis so good enough been up for three months and still solid for the price good enough for me

Make a hole with a metal bar about a foot down add some water put the spike in the hole and hammer down to the correct depth use a off cut off a post nice and solid

Hammered one spike in using solid plastic tool no problem . Knocking the second one in the welding was so poor the top part came apart from the bottom section . Had to then struggle to get the spike out of the ground . Have not tried the other 2 yet .

Dimensions seem to say 75 x 9 x 9cm, so I expected them to hold a 9cm (90mm) square fence post. Turns out they are 75mm square so not what I was after. Suggest the description is updated.

Just the job. Very happy.

Substandard quality , had two replace and one of them broke , not the greatest of quality ,
