CM28 Wireless Lavalier Microphone System

These mics have been great so far. Setup took less than a minute and they paired instantly with my camera and phone. The fit is lightweight and comfortable, and the charging case makes them easy to carry anywhere. Sound quality is clear with very little background noise, and the build looks and feels solid. Compatibility has been excellent across multiple devices. For the price, they’re a great option for content creators, vlogging, interviews, or everyday recording. Highly recommend.

Recently tried this microphone out and had an incredibly tough time getting it connected. I had to really push the connector to the receiver into my phone and into the receiver. Didn't make a good connection at first and it sent me on a hunt across the internet to try to figure out how to connect it the best. I found that another easy way is to connect an audio jack in your phone into the receiver if you have one but I don't have that on my phone. I have a newer Samsung so that did not work. Once I got the connection set up, it was incredibly easy to use. The battery lasted throughout our multi-hour recording session. It was also really helpful to be able to turn down the volume on my mic since I talk much louder than my wife and keep hers at a higher volume so that it picked up her voice more so when we were shooting. Overall the noise cancelling was pretty fantastic as well and it coming in a sturdy rechargeable carrying case was really well worth the volume or the value for the money. Overall incredibly thankful we got them at a fantastic price. They're not heavy whatsoever and the range was perfect for what we needed. Could not recommend these enough

I've been really impressed with this wireless lavalier microphone set. Setup was incredibly simple. It is truly a plug-and-play design. I plugged the reciever into my Nikon Z6III, powered everything on, and the transmitters connected instantly, no complicated pairing procedures. The sound quality is excellent, especially for the price. Voices come through clear, full, and natural, making it a great option for daily vlogs, interviews, YouTube videos, and even hobbyist documentary filmmaking. It does a great job minimizing background noise, allowing your voice to remain the focus even when recording in busier environments. I would not say it is perfect, you'll want to go with a full sized mic if you want perfection. I do believe it produces clean, professional-sounding vocals that require very little editing. I especially like that the reciever shows battery and audio levels right on the top display screen. This allows me to test the mic without even starting a test recording, I simply talk normally and the top screen shows my levels. Battery life has also been outstanding. Many times I keep it on throughout a full day of filming vlogs, and shooting multiple clips throughout the day. I used this while shooting with full body framing on an 85mm lens, roughly 20-30 ft from the camera with no issues. I havent tested the full range but I can't see myself filming too much farther from the receiver than that. They are slightly bigger than some of the other options I considered but I don't think they draw too much attention. They are very light, sometimes I forget I am wearing a mic. The included wind muff is a nice addition. It significantly reduces wind noise when recording outdoors and does an excellent job keeping audio usable in breezy conditions. My only complaint is that it can (and will) fall off if you're wearing the microphone while walking or moving around a lot. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's something to keep an eye on if you are vlogging, at the beach for example. Overall, this is a fantastic wireless microphone system for content creators, vloggers, and aspiring documentary filmmakers. Between the excellent audio quality, long battery life, noise reduction, and easy plug-and-play setup, it offers outstanding value compared to some of the bigger name brands. After about 3 months of moderate use, aside from the wind muff occasionally coming loose, I have very few complaints and would definitely recommend it.

This wireless mic set is a great value for the money. Yes, there are better wireless set ups out there, but they can easily cost 4-5 times more. The CM-28 is a good choice for someone who has a smaller budget or just doesn't want to spend a lot. The whole set up fits in the charger case, except for the furry wind screens. It does take a little bit to figure out all the settings and find out what works for you. I use it with both my iPhone and my Nikon camera. It's easy to hook up to either, although I generally use a cord with the iPhone instead of the included clip mount. The mics have a spring loaded clip mount or you can use the included magnets. The magnets work well and hold the mic in position. The one frustrating thing are the furry windscreens. They can be a bit fussy and difficult to fit on the mic and can also pop off easily. I just broke the plastic clip part on one of them trying to get it attached to the mic. There's got to be a better design for this! Also, I can't find any replacements, either on Amazon or at the Neewer website. Not a deal breaker, but be careful attaching the windscreens. All in all it's a solid product and it's made a difference in mt video recording.

Absolutely a game changer and honestly a great system once you find out how everything works! Its light and lasts a while and charges fast! Compact and elevates any project you are doing with high quality audio! It comes with usb c to usb c and ubs c to lighting adapter to connect to any usbc phone or older iphones! The battery lasts honestly forever and it charges really fast. Audio is very clear and clean once you fine tune settings on your camera or test your levels with the mic. It also comes with the audio jack cable to connect to your camera or device with a headphone jack. It comes with the little puff balls I call them to reduce noise for both mics. They are very compact and easy to use. The mics can be used one at a time if preferred, you don't have to use both mics to record something. The noise reduction works very well (it all comes down to fine tuning the settings and levels to your liking). Its honestly a slept on product and will change your videos and productions 100%. The case has slots to put the adapters inside and keep everything nicely in storage. Do note that when closing the case it has UV light that cleans the inside but it is the kind you should not look into since its the wavelength that can damage your eyes, it has a safety feature to prevent that but just in case DONT stare at the pretty light lol Its meant to kill bacteria and honestly its an awesome thing for it to have. You can keep the mics outside the case and turn off the mics and transmitter if you want to as well. The clips on them makes them easy to clip on almost anything. The mics have a magnet in case you want to hide the mics I guess? I never understood that, but you can stick them to stuff lol The magnets are pretty strong! The distance they transmit is actually really good! I will say if you are at lets say an expo MAYBE you will get some interference but that's just a common thing that's expected since a lot of wireless systems transmit at 2.4ghz so its possible. I personally never had a problem. You can connect the individual mics to a pc to get the files if you use internal recording, note that it will save them with them mic you used, it wont saved them on both, so if you used internal on mic1 the file will be on mic 1 only, and if you use mic 2 the files will be on mic2 not both, UNLESS of course you use both lol. Its pretty fast when transferring but could have been faster honestly but nothing major. You can pretty use these mics with anything that has a mic jack , like a pc, ive used it with so many devices with no problems at all. I would like to add that once you save your files, delete them from the device since I kinda forget and have alot on there..when you delete them they start at REC001 REC002 and so on, so make sure you put them in separate folders and rename them otherwise you may end up with mutiple RE001 named files haha Display is nice and bright and for people who cant see small print , maybe it could be an issue but it has enough brightness i think to help it be readable, but it is kind of small. Neewer CM28 RX is an excellent wireless mic system to elevate your production and videos!

I love these mics! I've bought two sets now, and recommended them to multiple others who have also bought and loved them. They're a great price, and they just work. People are always surprised to learn that I can record directly onto the mics, or plug the receiver into my camera to record that way. The two biggest flaws in my opinion are that the Noise Cancelling mode is awful - makes your audio sound like an alien. I'd rather do any noise filtering in post-production anyways, so not a problem for me as long as I don't accidentally turn it on. The second flaw is that the little USB/lightning adapters don't clip into the case very well, and constantly fall out of their spots. Not that big of a deal.

This set of mics is one of my favorite tech purchases in a long time and I use the hell out of it. I use them daily for three different situations: 1. Work calls on my laptop. These mics especially shine in busy places like loud coffee shops. The noise cancelling is very good without hurting the audio quality, and the audio is far better than the built-in mics on my laptop or webcam. 2. Video recording on my iphone (in my case for social media content.) The audio quality is excellent and really boosts the quality of my videos. 3. Any call or recording situation that benefits from two separate mics, e.g. two people sitting next to each other on a zoom call, a podcast, or a phone video. Since the kit has two wireless mics that connect to the hub, it's so easy to give the second mic to a colleague or cohost. Battery life is great. The battery for each mic lasts several hours of constant use. I've only run it out once in a day of 8+ hours of calls, and I tossed it back in the charging case and grabbed the second mic. Took me 5 seconds to be up and running again since the second mic was already connected wirelessly to the hub. The charging case battery is also great - even when using a mic several hours per day, I only have to recharge the case once every couple weeks or so. Portability is excellent. The charging case is the roughly size of a thick bar of soap and fits into my backpack easily. It also feels durable and well-made. It's not a negative, but the only note I have is that when I use these mics in a noisy environment with the noise cancelling turned on, I don't clip them onto my shirt because the audio quality isn't able to be as good. I choose to hold it in my hand and talk directly into it. I might look a little funny (like an Instagram influencer,) but the sound quality is so good and professional that I don't care. 10/10

These Neewer units are very good bang for the buck- not only a good wifi signal, but the fact that you have high-capacity internal recording makes it an amazing value. I like that you can use either the built in mic, which is decent, or a lav mic with a 1/8 (not included). Yes, only 16bit audio and the gain controls are a little clunky, but these are a no-brainer set to own. So many included cables too - a very nice package. There's so many choices on the market now, but Neewer made a nice, very affordable starter set for filmmakers or vloggers in this unit. Maybe the next unit will have 32bit float.

This was good,it almost like a pro system, though not 24bit,but it has everything you need for recording.sound is good,n very value for money. However what I don't like is the RX L shaped USC, n the one I have,USC is loose. I had asked for replacement or parts but Neweer hasn't responded. Also if used as stand-alone recording on the TX, volume very soft due 16bit but you could boost it using Capcut,Logic,Finalcut.. Other than that, I'm happy using it. Still waiting for Neweer response on loose L connector

La calidad de grabación es buena, la distancia de conexción es excelente, el suprespor de ruido no es el mejor, si se alcanza a escuchar algo de ruido aún con la función activada. la batería es super duradera, en general muy buena compra, si los recomiendo para comenzar. pero a la larga si necesitaras cambiarlos si tu contenido requiere de alta calidad en la grabación.

Ya llevo usándolos unos tres o cuatro meses y no me han decepcionado en ningún momento. La calidad del sonido me parece muy buena, sin ser yo un especialista, y me han solucionado muy bien mis necesidades para grabar vídeos o audio. Admiten bastante distancia mientras no haya objetos entre emisor y receptor. No he tenido problemas en este sentido. Los paravientos que incorpora son imprescindibles si grabamos al aire libre, pues son sensibles al viento (como la mayoría de este tipo de micros). Me han funcionado bien grabando con el móvil (USB) y con la cámara réflex (JACK). También grabando con los dos a la vez, uno por USB y otro por el jack. El echo de que los micros, a parte de transmitir el sonido al receptor, también tengan una memoria interna donde gravar una copia del audio, asegura que nunca vas a quedarte sin sonido en caso de interferencias. En caso de necesidad, incluso se puede usar el micro solo como una mini-grabadora.

I had a set of more expensive wireless microphones with more controls which disappeared one day. I didn’t want to spend as much again. So I bought these and am very satisfied. They are easier to confirm that they recording. Fewer controls but they were adequate for the product videos I prepare for my client. I would prefer a brighter display indicator text which is a faint red text. The rest of the display is quite clear. The charging case works well. I plugged a lavalier microphone in to one of the units because the client did not want the little “box-shaped” wireless transmitter to show on the video. He is not alone in feeling it looks bad. At the end of the day the recordings were crisp and clear.
