D&D Dungeon Tiles Reincarnated: Dungeon (Dungeons & Dragons)

Good Quality, Easy Storage
I like this product. It may not suit the needs of all Dungeon Masters out there, but it most certainly meets mine.I am a DM in a big city and we play D&D in gaming stores, this means often the tables can be crowded, space can be limited and everything you bring to a session has to be portable and light. This product meets all that criteria.Unlike big rolls of vinyl and pens, I don't have to worry about space for the whole mat or players rubbing against the dry erase or drawing in doors and traps along the way. Now I simply pull out my tiles, arrange a small dungeon for the session I like, place the tiles in a sandwich bag in the order I use to assemble the dungeon and POOF, I am done. The little bag of tiles I'm going to use weighs less than a pound and fits easily into my backpack.I bought two boxes, so I can mix and match and I can have caves or dungeon or both. It can combine with other spiral map books too, augmenting the map on the book by simply placing the tile above it.The tiles are made of high quality pressboard, much thicker and durable than the semi-professional indie tiles out there and much nicer than you can get out of your inkjet printer too. The graphics are well printed, high DPI. The tiles just pop right out as they are perforated nicely.I have some nitpicks. A lot of the circular pieces take up far too much space for their utility or form and as a result, some of the large circular piece won't be used. A few more bloodstains or little cuffs on some of the more generic tiles to make them more distinguishable would be nice. A very tiny mark or code on the board to identify it as well would also be useful to rebuild or catalog which pieces you use. These are minor concerns, overall this product is very good value for the money. The box the tiles come in has a nice quality and durability to it and also provides some utility as it has a grid on the top of it as well. It's not easy getting all the tiles in the box once opened and removed from their perforation, but with some care to place the larger ones in first, they will all fit.I recommend little wee bags to track and store the tinier pieces, they tend to get lost in the couch or kicked under the rug otherwise!Great product, I could not be more pleased.

Very useful, gorgeous, great quality
I love smart GM tools and props such as the giant books of battlemaps, which give you immediate terrain to role play on.(I have different sets of these they are of equivalent quality and usefulness and share this review - some details listed here might not apply to all sets, e.g. the dungeon doors don't apply to the wilderness set)I usually play on a Chessex mat on which I draw with water-erasable markers with a few additional props. This here is a great addition to my toolbox:- They are gorgeous, high quality and reversible (the sides are different)- They all feature the usual 1" square grid, even the wilderness (only the corner are marked, more than enough without being obnoxious)- They can easily be placed on the Chessex mat to represent the important terrain while the rest can be noted on the mat- Small elements can be placed over the bigger ones for additional details. E.g. the smart closed door that is open on the other side. Flip it over when the rogue is done :)- Even the box can be used for elevated terrain (two different heights)My players used to show up to a dining table covered with a Chessex mat itself covered with paper sheets meant to hide from them the map I had spent an hour drawing, to be revealed as they explore the location. Now I have my tiles sorted in the order I will need them and I just pull them out as the characters are progressing.Only problem: you can't use both sides of a tile at the same time.So I am ordering another set of each of these!

Inspiration For Any Tabletop RPG
New to tabletop RPGs, I purchased each of the D&D Reincarnated Dungeontiles: City, Wilderness, and Dungeon to liven up games while I am slowly building a collection of miniatures. There are several YouTube videos reviewing these boxed sets, but you really do need to hold them and view them to appreciate them.Colors are deep and vibrant, the quality of the tiles are excellent and will easily last many years if properly stored and cared for. There are spiral staircases, doors, portals, sewers, bridges, just a great variety to inspire the imagination. These tiles set a certain mood, and will enhance the presence of monsters and npc character introductions. I highly recommend all three sets of tiles to anyone interested in tabletop rpg games. These are easily interchangeable with Star Wars RPG games, just imagine a dungeon on Corellia, the wilderness on Tatooine, or visiting the marketplaces on Alderaan. A great investment for any game!

Be careful with the maps
First of all I'd like to say that the amount of maps that you get for the price are absolutely worth the price. You get 10 front to back beautifully colored pages, 20 maps in total. They are really high quality and I'm sure you can think of many different ways you can use them for different types of encounters. If you have dungeon tiles as well as extra table space then you get even more value from these maps. The only negative I have to say about these maps is that they are on thin paper stock, and I would highly recommend placing a clear plastic sheet over them to protect them from beer, food, etc. I recommend those clear plastic sheets/rolls specifically made for protecting table tops.

Awesome.
This box is just like the original production except that it has a handful of extra dungeon tiles from other tile sets.So I brought these for DMing at a convention and a few of the DMs and players wore blown away at how versatile they wore. Most people seemed to ether not know what they wore or haven't personally seen them. That blew me away since the 3.5 starter boxes came with a handful of them.

Alta qualidade
