Natural Evolution Green Banana Flour (908g)

My son has multiple allergies and I’ve been looking for ages for a flour that would suit him. This flour is brilliant. It works in cakes well, it doesn’t have a strong flavour of banana at all. My son thinks it look like sand when mixing his cake due to the colour. A brilliant alternative to wheat flour! A very happy boy and mum!!

First time trying this product. Really found it helpful for digestion, and it tastes quite good too. Bit on the pricey side though, hope this eventually comes down a bit as would like to purchase more often.

This is a very good green banana flour, I have used it for bread and biscuits. (A bit pricey).

Really like this product. I use it in the morning for together with my protein shake. Taste good.

The importance of this product is for its resistant starch content. As per package directions the flour is for baking or cooking only.However heat (cooking/ baking) destroys resistant starch. Therefore unless taken raw there really is no benefit. Cost benefit ratio is therefore poor as the price is extremely high. Besides there is very limited information about the way the flour is prepared and the temperatures to which it is exposed in the process.

Disappointing, I tried to use this for bread - being an experienced bread maker (self approved) and whilst the promise to be gluten free, use less flour and generally be a better alternative - all of these promises kinda fell on their arse. The bread did not rise, it tastes very bananary and had the consistency of an Savannah mud hut. I am sure the fault it with the user, I googled how to work with it and followed the guidance on the box/google - but the result failed to live upto the promise. Find some good UK flour, support a local miller - do something else with the money.

Great ingredient which has made me research recipes that utilise it!

Il prodotto è ottimo, nulla da dire, questa farina si presta a svariate preparazioni e per questo è molto versatile. Forse il prezzo è un po' esagerato. La spedizione fa pena, la confezione mi è arrivata per la seconda volta distrutta, vedi foto, ma perlomeno stavolta il prodotto non è fuoriuscito dalla busta. Migliorate le modalità di spedizione per questo articolo o non la acquisterò più. Ordine di Ottobre 2020: Le confezioni continuano ad arrivare sfondate, stavolta addirittura richiusa con il nastro adesivo. Per fortuna la busta contenente la farina era integra e solo per questo motivo non ho effettuato il reso. Prodotto ottimo come sempre.
