I buy this float valve for the cow’s trough it’s really useful as it keeps the water fresh and won’t overflow.

Poor Quality
I've purchased this twice already- its used on a small pond. The first one lasted only a couple of days before it would stick open causing the pond to overflow. The second one lasted four months before it too malfunctioned causing the pond to overflow. I would recommend purchasing a higher quality valve- this one is extremely poor quality.

Poor low PSI performance
I had a water pressure of around 20PSI. It did not allow any flow. I tried with a system with a little higher pressure of around 30PSI and the flow was a dribble at best. As a last effort I took it apart and found most of the internals to be binding with horrible clearance.I personally can't recommend

Great water flow
So far so good, worked as advertised. I will be ordering more

Expect to replace it every year or two.
It works great for a while. We have a large waterfall in our backyard. We’ve had it operating for four years now and we just replaced it for the third time. Ordered another brand stainless steel and when this one goes out, we’re gonna try a different brand.
