Q: Has anyone recived the wrong model windtunnel 3 in box? still waiting to hear from hoover. this happen twice, anyone eles?

This seems to still be an issue even in near December. I received the UH72600W model instead of UH72625. I'm betting a lot of people have received the incorrect models, but do not realize it. It's odd that the Hoover webpage does not even show this model too. Regardless, I received a WindTunnel model, and not WindTunnel 3. And unless this product page has been repurposed, then from the images a few people have given that have indicated liking this product and have not indicated that they received the incorrect product have actually also received the incorrect product and are not aware of it. Ignorance is good for business, eh?

Q: Will this vacuum suck up parrot food and brokenbird toys?

Not on hardwood floors...it will spit the parrot’s food and broken toys right back on the floor in a wide sweeping pattern.

Q: How gentle is it for area rugs and floors?

I think it's great. Vacuum has ability to turn off roller brush for hard floors. On the Carpet it moves smooth with lots of power. Length of power cord is longer than others. Best vacuum I've bought in a long time
