Spent endless amounts of money on loads of different brands of trimmer, this one is by far the best. Well made, long battery life and very easy to clean

This is probably the best beard trimmer I've owned. I usually buy cheaper ones but this time I decided to spend some more money on something of a higher quality. Braun is the manufacturer of this trimmer and they're well known for quality devices such as this. For the money this is a very good trimmer, great value.The trimmer comes with two lengths attachments. And each attachment adjusts using the dial for 20 length increments (at 0.5mm per) so in total 40 possible length settings. Although, I like to consider the bare blades as an option as well. So arguably 41 length settings (?)Never have owned a trimmer with so many customisation options. Really feels good to have that level of control. Fellow beard wearers will understand! Really easy to get the length you want. Then you know for next time, I set it to this for the beard, little bit longer for the moustache, set it to there. You know your settings and they're reliable for a consistent look.I can't speak for the battery life yet. As I've only used the trimmer once. It says in the manual it takes 8 hours to charge and I can confirm that it does indeed (from factory, straight out of the box anyway) take that amount of time. Almost to the minute, exactly 8 hours to charge.Last point to note.. Someone reviewed this and stated that it came with "an American" plug. This is inaccurate and not factual. The charging unit is standard shaver socket type. So if you don't have a shaver socket installed in your bathroom you might require an adapter of some kind.

Gives a good quality shave and feels like decent quality. Really like it. Saves a lot of time against my older Remington model that it replaced.

Got this for my other half and he loves it! Hopefully will be durable!

I bought this for my partner he has a big beard and he really likes this shaver, in particular for shaping. He also uses it on his hair to cut in his mohawk!

This does exactly what it says on the tin. It feels sturdy when using it and changing the cutting length is simple. Highly recommend

I purchased this Gillette beard trimmer in replacement of a Remington B5 beard trimmer that had a battery failure after 8 months. The Remington was absolutely brilliant except that the rechargeable battery failed. On investigation, I found that this was apparently a reoccurring problem with the Remington B5 hence changing to a different manufacture.As for the Gillette, I am totally disappointed, I have a short Goatee beard and this just doesn't cut the mustard. The trimmer is great without the plastic combs, but when the combs are attached they just don’t seem to run cleanly through my short beard to allow cutting. I really just don’t understand why this product gets so many Amazon high scores. In my option it’s just poor design and the Remington is far better except for the battery issue.I have sent the Gillette back and will have to start again looking for a beard trimmer that actually deliverers a decent trim.
