We use these 2-cup souper cubes to freeze prawn tails that we have caught, in water. We then vacuum seal the frozen blocks and put them back in the freezer. This eliminates the freezer burn people often get on their prawn tails after a few months in the freezer.We also use them for freezing then vacuum sealing soups, beans and many other cooked items. They work very well.

Son de buena calidad pero no tienen un sellado a prueba de líquidos, mi congelador es de cajón y al abrirlo antes de que se congelaran el liquido escurrió de las bandejas , por este precio hubiera esperado que tuvieran un sellado mejor. Compre varios y no los devolveré pero si me decepcionaron por el precio que pague por ellos.

I have been making more food and freezing it for quite some time now, and I am always trying to find ways to improve my process. These Souper Cubes work really well as they have level marks, a cover, and are well built in general. The drawback is the cost, they certainly are not cheap, so I freeze my food and remove it to store it in a bag once it’s solid.I make my own noodles, and my most recent experiment with these has been cooking the noodles, filling half of the 2-cup containers, adding prepared veggies and freezing all together. I end up with with meal kits that I can defrost in the microwave and sauté, use in soups or just pour sauce over and eat. Very handy.
