I received the LP-100 in Carbon Black as a Christmas present from my kids because I've started buying records again after a 20 year hiatus. Think I remember having a silver one of these back in the day but was still quite surprised by just how nice the finish is on the new one. Looks to be very well built and sturdy as well although I won't be using it for travelling and DJ-ing outside the house so will never know how it stands up to being thrown around. Certainly a solid enough piece of kit for the house and definitely looks the part in the corner of the room. Yes, would recommend.

Not so easy to open the box, but it is nicely finished inside and out. Because it will hold so many records, it becomes very heavy when full. I believe it would have been more user freindly if it only held 50 records.

This really looks the part. Bought as a gift for my son and he was very happy with it.

I have mistreated my growing collection of charity-shop scrounged LP's for many years, sitting in shop bags in the cupboard for years, and finally got round to buying a decent box to protect them.This box has plenty of storage for them all, is suitably constructed to protect it for moving about the odd time, and feels strong. The lock mechanism is a little fiddly and has a bit of tension to it, but otherwise for the price, it does its job well.If I was spending a little more money on it, I would prefer the lid to optionally stay attached when opening, so I can open it, find a record and swing it shut, rather than taking the whole lid off everytime.As it functions as a carrier however, perfect.
