The phone is easy to use, easy to program and has great voice quality. Even though this phone is compatible with the Plantronics headset, it does not operate the way you would think. You do not have to use the handset lifter but if you don't hook up the lifter, the Plantronics operation is limited and requires extra button pushes to make it work. I went back and hooked it up with the handset lifter and have the type of functionality I expected. Would still buy again as this is an excellent phone. Review: No Answering Machine - Although the description indicates it has message waiting function (I thought that meant it had voice mail capability) that requires an additional service to be purchased from AT&T. I misunderstood and have requested return authorization. If you already have voice mail service from your service this is an excellent phone.
