Has to be pitch dark
Its a nice looking clock but unless its pitch dark it does not glow . It would have been nice if there was a somewhat glow as the room darkens. The clock itself is quality so the 3 stars is because I am disappointed that it is not a gradual progression.

brought things and first was very good but has problems with second time was not working, third time was falling apart. this is a problem..

It was lit initially but not anymore

Only glows if light is absorbed prior
Nice size but the glow in dark only works if you put in sun or daylight to absorb, and then it loses the glow again over time.
