OK, so can't expect much for the price but couldn't they at least put an edge on it? Might make a decent axe. Handle is definitely not bone and has not polishing of rough edges.

I loved everything about this knife. The first comment above is a total fabrication, (a competitor?), this knife has beautiful bone handles, feels great, nice heavy solid weight, good balance. One of the best knives I have bought. I did not buy mine on Amazon but could not believe somebody wrote such a negative comment, its malicious. Sorry, but I just had to jump in because these people try to steer us away from good purchases..........
