The beaded cord control the twist of the blinds,this one is for opening them **Q: How to fit cord weights** A: You can see from the picture of the chord weight, its in 2 parts. An outer case, and an inner part with a wheel. Loop the chord over the wheel, and insert it back into the case. Its as simple as that. I then realised that part of the inner weight had risen and become stuck, preventing the buttons on the top part from moving inwards. I managed to dislodge the offending item by poking a small screwdriver through the cord holes.
