A Great, Exciting, Zombie Series!
Nick (the author) really shines with the beginning and spread of zombies in a zombie apocalypse. This is the second of his zombie series that I have read (along with Cadaver - also 5 stars). His has multiple characters, all with different viewpoints, all interesting, and none of them are safe. Well done. Highly recommended,.

I loved this SO MUCH
Omg, I started with the prequel (day 0) and read all the way to the end. I finished the 1500 or so pages in 3 days. I couldn’t stop reading. First of all, this might be my all-time favorite zombie series. I absolutely love the voodoo ties and the characters. I won’t spoil the ending for those who haven’t finished it but it was honestly perfect. I haven’t gotten myself so wrapped up in a series quite this much since Harry Potter was released in the early 2000s. Admittedly, the quality of the writing and the editing isn’t nearly as polished and professional as Harry Potter, but the way I was so engrossed with the story and characters and lore was on a similar level. If I could offer some feedback to the author, it would be to get a better editor. I found numerous grammatical errors as I was reading. I know that’s typical for self-published kindle books and it didn’t take away from the story as much as the last zombie series I read (which was the Crawlerz series—also an excellent storyline but the grammatical errors in that series were so bad that it made it hard to read), but there were enough to where I thought it was worth pointing out.Another suggestion would be to use a larger vocabulary—the number of times I read that a character sneered was craziness 😅🫠. Just use a thesaurus and problem solved! I’m not saying that to be snarky, I absolutely love your books and your ideas are fresh, but your writing could be so much more polished with better proofreading and a wider range of vocabulary.Highly recommend this series! The fact that I could get the entire series all in one kindle made it 10000x easier because I wasflying through the days since the outbreak (which I believe works out as one book per day of the outbreak?) every couple of hours.I am now off to read the next series by this author. This is the second series by Clausen I’ve read in the past two weeks. The first one was the one where the two boys discovered the frozen corpse in the woods. Compared with that series (which was also a VERY quick read), this one was wayyyy better and more creative!Lastly, thanks for being a part of kindle unlimited—I never would have stumbled upon your books had you not had them available with a kindle unlimited subscription.

Awesome read!
This book ignited a passion for zombie flicks, and other material. The book was a page turner, action packed and really was a great book overall. The characters were interesting, and it had a pretty interesting zombie concept unique to other material. I would love to see this book be adapted one day into a movie.

Amazing!!
Stunning!! The zombie apocalypse, but it doesn’t start in the conventional way that we are used to seeing in mainstream media. The book series will basically take place over 9 days. Within each series you get steady characters from the first book, but as the series goes on, you meet new characters. A personal hint, don’t get attached to any of the characters. It’s Game of Thrones style abuse and everyone you love, or think you might love, dies. It is nonstop action. You get a few chapters within the books to breathe, but that’s it. It’s quite literally the most realistic zombie series I have ever read in the essence of the central theme is hopelessness. Characters think that they can be heroes, but in the zombie apocalypse, there are no heroes. It’s death, poor decision making, and of course the misinformed media trying to give hope and understanding to something that is well beyond the understanding of the human mind. It’s gripping. Nail-bitting. And where other books seem to fail at bringing it, a sense of dread. I have found myself not being able to put it down when I start reading. This author really has of way of sucking you in with every word. Also, the zombies are terrifying. It really does shed light on how we as a society see zombies and force ourselves not to believe in the unnatural horror of things and try to make sense of the senseless. It’s an amazing read so far.

Absolutely Awesome.
Second zombie series that I’ve read by Mr. Clausen and man oh man does it deliver! I found myself loving characters only for them to disappear in the next chapter. It kept me on edge at all times. What a wonderful and amazing series. Thank you for giving us the privilege to consume such amazing content.

Audio Book Review
I had a good time listening to this one. This is a 4-star book, with a 3.5 star audio narration. Which, honestly, puts it in the top 90% of modern zombie stuff. 5* leave because if it doesn't get a 5* review it falls off the recommended pages and no one pays attention to it. Give it a go, it's a great story when you're behind the wheel in traffic.I was pleasantly surprised but the story. It was coherent, the characters had their own voice. Not different narrators, but written as if they were different people; I believed the characters, believing they could be real people. It's a bit of a drawn out zombie story, dealing more often with characters than zombie horror, but I liked the characters, it is a solid story arc, and it was well edited,I didn't agree with the narrators read on emotions and intent for some very noticeable lines, but that could be on me as it was narrated well over-all.
