After being raised from infancy with dogs I've rarely been without one. I fed thousands of dogs over the 25+ years of owning and operating a small boarding and grooming business, and rescuing/re-homing many dozens over that time, I've seen what can happen when a dog is changed to a better diet. Almost every dog changed to this food improved, especially those with allergies, and skin disorders. Much cheaper than vet bills, and your dog deserves a healthy life.I do need to say that I always supplemented my own dogs diets daily with assorted vegetables as treats - carrots, green beans, cucumbers, and added small amounts of eggs, and raw meats to their kibble, - beef, pork, venison, and organ meats.Whenever possible I consume only organic foods. I buy only grass fed beef, organically pasture raised pork, chicken, and eggs. My morning protein shake is made with "Naked Whey" and organic additions, so I try to do this kind of diet for my dogs and my cat as well. I have found that "Solid Gold" is one of the closest to that quality that I can find in a kibble. (But, I strongly advise buying the book, "The Forever Dog" so you really know what to feed your dog to make them live a healthy life until close to 20 years old, or older.)

this is the only food I feed my Pomeranians. I learned that my first pom, Mina had reactions to some dog treats I had bought that turned out to be made in China. From that moment I made sure that all of her treats and dog food were made in the USA. This food is clean, and made from healthy ingredients that my dogs love. They have no stomach issues and hardly ever any gas. The kibble is tiny, and heart shaped. Solid Gold has me as a forever customer.

My German Shepherd with a super sensitive stomach LOVES this food! It has also improved her skin and coat as well! Her coat was dull and is now super shiny and soft! The quality of this dog food definitely is worth it for the price. I appreciate the fact that Solid Gold uses premium and simple ingredients. My only caveat is that I wish it came in a larger size than 22lbs.

My 15 year-old Labrador Retriever has a very sensitive stomach. This is the only food that lets him have a regular bowel movement. I've even tried the "human grade" foods advertised all over, and they gave him diarrhea.

My picky girls LOVE this food!! I’ve searched for over 2 years to find a high quality dog food they will eat. It’s tiny enough for them the munch. Thanks Solid Gold !! You’ve made to little girls very happy.

This has been our favorite, "go-to" food for quite a while. We have a Chihuahua and a Mini Poodle and they LOVE this food, clearly more than any other.So why am I giving only 4 stars? Well, since last I bought this food (not from Amazon) they seem to have changed the kibbles. Rather than all the tiny bites, there are now larger pieces mixed in. The dogs DO NOT approve! They actually take out the larger pieces and leave them on the floor around their food bowl, only eating the tiny bites.Overall I still consider this a 5-star food and I will continue to buy it. However I will see if I can find some with all tiny bites.

i have 13 yo yorkie with only a few teeth. Was struggling with picky-puking and chewing. He eats this tiny kibble and has had no digestion issues. Has been amazing for him and less stress feeding.
