I’m really happy with this MECHEER crochet hook set. Game changer I am fairly new to crochet and have been using the really basic boye hooks. These with the grippys on them are a game changer for my hands. SOOOO much more comfortable and come with some good accessories for the price, including the pouch. I am NOT the most organized human so it's nice to have a place to keep it all together so I'm not searching for stuff when I need it. These are super comfy for hands, seem very durable and the needle glides smoothly on the yarn. There are good sizes and a nice variety. I would recommend this little set, especially for those just learning.

These are great crochet books. Easy to hold. Reasonably priced. And a great bag to keep everything together. I have arthritis and these hooks make it easy for me to crochet.

This kit is so good for when you need to travel or when you always lose things, the kit has basically everything you need for a project and has a lot of of hook size and its super cheap but good quality, totally recommend it for people who are learning how to crochet!

High quality and different sizes to help with any project. I’m only a beginner, but this is a huge step up from the aluminum hooks I was using. I’ll never go back. Highly recommend!

These crochet hooks are quite the bargain. I tried to purchase a name brand set, but then the order was cancelled on me. So, I just decided to give this meecher set a try. I tried each hook to see how it performs. I'm a beginner, so I don't have a lot to compare it with. I've been using a vintage steel boye hook for some other projects. These crochet hooks are definitely lighter which helps with hand fatigue. The larger ones are squeaky while crocheting. I believe it's because the metal is not smooth and there is drag from the crochet hook on the yarn. The midsize and smaller hooks don't seem to have that problem. There are some extras that come with this set - a case, stitch markers, a pair of "scissors", a thread cutter, tapestry needles, and a stitch counter. The stitch counter is useless. The scissors will do in a pinch. I didn't try the thread cutter, but I imagine it's as good as the scissors (not good, but can use in a pinch). The tapestry needles are cheaply made, but at least you can thread your yarn through them. The stitch markers have worked well for me and the case is nice to have to keep the set organized. I've been using the 4mm G hook on an amigurumi turtle. Sometimes the hook doesn't grab as well as I would like, but it's working as expected. The hooks are labeled with a stamp and an imprint of the size. So, if the black label rubs off at least there's an imprint of the size. The handles are nice and soft as well. For the price, you're going to get a cheap set of crochet hooks and some really cheap accessories, but it will work for now.

A great crochet kit for the price! Needles are great quality, along with extra items in the bag. I was surprised to find that it included snips for cutting yarn and other items needed for crocheting. Love!

I am excited about this hook set. Received as advertised. These are slightly longer than my original set which is something I was looking for. The hook set is of good quality, the hooks themselves and the bag. The measuring tape is of a lesser quality. It’s thinner. The stitch markers work. But they are also of lesser quality. They are thin and not as thick as my other ones. The scissors are of good quality they do not feel flimsy. The size stamp are blurry only on two of my hooks but do not rub off immediately so I am pleased with that and I love the engraved sizes if they rub off. The rubber on the hook is of good quality. I also love the more space in the hook head. The two purple hooks in the pic: the left is my older one the right is the new one. It also arrived in nice separate packaging inside the case. * update, I’ve been using this hook set for the past 3 days since I received it. I am beyond happy with it as the main reason I bought it where the hooks them selves and not the other pieces. The quality of the handle is very comfortable. I am even healing from jammed fingers and I have not needed to put this hook down. I have zero arm or wrist strain. No extra pain in my hand. And I am able to crochet my normal amount of time. I am also very pleased to say that stamp sizes have not rubbed off!! I love this set.

Perfect for beginners, comes with everything you’d need to start crocheting. The markers work well, this amount comes in handy. Although, I’d never use this many but I do lose them often 😂. The crochet hooks have every size you need, the yarn doesn’t fetch on the hooks and are fairly smooth. The grips are comfortable, my wrists do get a little sore but that’s to be expected with the amount I can crochet 😅. They come with the embroidery needles which is a nice touch and the sweetest carrying case; everything seems to be made with good quality. I’m happy with this purchase!
