Braun Electric Razor for Men Foil Shaver, Rechargeable, Black, 4 Piece Set

This Braun razor is a winner! This Series 3 electric shaver replaces a 12-year old Series 3 that performed flawlessly. This latest model is a major improvement in every way.The newest version is slightly lighter, is much quieter, and oscillates at a higher speed for a better shave. The basic all-black finish is attractive and practical. Given the razor's fine build quality and great features, the price is a bargain.A clear plastic head guard is also included, as is a larger cleaning brush. The razor has dual power and works great either when plugged in or fully charged (a terrific feature). The battery technology has certainly improved as this newest model stays charged for an entire month with my daily use.My only suggestion is that Braun should include a handy coiled charging cord like the one that came with my older model. A coiled charge cord makes life much easier when using the razor plugged in and when charging. I will continue to use my old coil cord since it is compatible... but I also found a mint used Braun 12V coiled charger online.This rugged razor is built like a tank and the overall design and ergonomics are first rate. It took only moments to bond with this excellent electric shaver.This new Braun Series 3 has all the right stuff and it puts a smile on my face every time I use it. I have used a Norelco for 30 years, but I wanted something nice for once, and purchased this based on price and reviews. It does not work like the ones I am used to, but I am happy with it. It is used differently than what I am used to, but I am happy with the results. I get a much closer shave with this than the ones I am used to. Nothing negative about it at all. Thanks

I've been using Braun shavers since my teens and I am now 51. I've only had 3 and the last one I had still actually works but I decided to treat myself with a new one and use the other as a back up. This shaver is exactly what I want when it comes to a shaver. It actually shaves very close and gets most of the stubble left after 1 or 2 passing overs. I'm Italian so my facial hair grows quite quickly throughout a day. The one thing I noticed with this shaver my facial hair doesn't grow back as quick as it did with my other Brauns and it initially leaves me with a very smooth shave. If your looking for a shaver that wants to give you a clean shave after one passing good luck. Even the most expensive kind it will take a few passings to get everything clean and even. I love Braun so my overview of this product will be more critical than someone who has never used a Braun. I don't use the cordless part so I don't know how the charge is on the battery. I use the cord and allow myself enough time in the morning to not have to shave in the car or in the shower to save time. It doesn't have a side burn shaver on the side like my other two did but in retrospect I realized how many times I actually used it and it was not enough to not get this shaver. I use just a regular hand razor for that. Overall I love this shaver and it meets all the needs I expect from Braun.

Very nice product - works well, good battery life, good quality - maybe not the closest shave as razor blades but good enough, I haven't had enough experience with these to be an expert but I like it..

As the one star shows, I am not happy with this product.First the good:It is easy to assemble and take apart. The battery lasts for about a week and since this razor has made me spend at least 10 minutes every time I use it, that's a good battery.That's about it.The bad:The design is terrible. This all-in-one head is near impossible to clean well. I followed directions on cleaning, but very little stubble came out. I ran under water after taking apart, I tapped it, I cleaned often, nothing seemed to work. I thought maybe it was my beard and that I just didn't have a lot. In a fit of frustration with this shaver (see next item on how well it performs) I banged extremely hard in the sink, 10 times as much stubble fell out. Did it again, and got almost as much out again. By then, the head was unusable (when I said banged hard, I mean hard), but it shows how little cleaning got out of the shaver.The quality of the shave was terrible. From the start (so cleaning was not the issue), I had to go over the same spot many times to get the stubble cut. After about 10 minutes I looked like I had a scraggly slightly less than 5 o'clock shadow. It was terrible. Back to shaving more. It should not take this long to shave and when I look closely in the mirror I should not have many patches of dark hair still showing.I tried keep shaver vertical, angling it, using pre-shave lotion, no lotion and totally dry prior to shower, press hard on skin, press lightly, pull skin so tight my neck and face hurt, let skin go where it wanted. Nothing worked with this shaver. And with the fact it was so difficult to clean, the shaving got worse and worse.I expected more from a Braun. Look elsewhere for a better razor.UPDATE: Did not even last year. It is broken now. Ended up throwing it away.

Between the Braun website, Amazon marketplace and other online reviews, there is no consistent information whether the 3000s comes with a trimmer, so I thought I would post this to help those that are in my same boat. Today is 8/31/24, and here is what I got when I ordered the Braun 3000s. It came with the precision trimmer... nice! The trimmer is no replacement for my Wahl clippers, but it will do in a pinch for sideburns. As for the 3000s shaving performance, it is awesome! I have a notorious difficult beard on my neck that goes in all directions, and no electric shaver has ever been able to get it. The 3000s does.
