Truly offers enduring energy when needed.
Excellent product! Good taste, cool and smooth to drink. Keeps the body steady during the heat of summer. Also ensures a strong energy level during more difficult times. Strongly recommended.

energy when you need it
The flavor is good, it does not leave an aftertaste. It boosts and thirst quenches. I use it for running and cycling, never had any tummy upsets with it, I buy it on a regular basis and can fully recommend.

Outstanding!
This product is exceptional. I've done marathons and triathlons using just this and it is no joke - all you need - all day! You'll want to carry something savoury for the longer adventures though as it is just sugar/salt, it gets sickly after many hours. As long as you can mix up your hydration - have some pure water too, you're golden. It dropped a star because of the packaging. This is the big bag and the re-sealing strip was broken on the one I received. It may have just been a unit defect, but annoying non the less. Easily solved by placing the whole bag in another zip lock bag.

It works for me .
I have been dabbling with tailwind for a couple years, taking some water and some tailwind. just done my first 100K trail with all tailwind, one sachet or 2 scoops per 500ml, and aimed for 500ml per hour. Managed 19hours with 15000ft ascent/descent on tailwind and the only solid food I ate felt optional and totalled less than 800calories across the whole day. I don’t bother with tailwind Buzz anymore as hard to control caffeine levels, so I use non caffeinated and if and when I need that extra boost I add a 75mg tab of zero to my tailwind bottle. I can’t image running a long run without it now.

I ride XC and gravel bikes 3-4 times per week. Rides typically ranging 2-3 hours in duration. Adding 2 to 3 scoops per bottle gives me the energy/carbs I need to complete my workouts without any gut distress. I have really been enjoying using this product as it mixes up well and has a very light taste. I highly recommend giving this product to try, you won’t be disappointed.

I purchased this product after a friend of mine kept going on and on about how much he liked it. I was skeptical, but really held out hope that the promises it made could be delivered. I do a lot of ultramarathons and almost always deal with some sort of GI issue during and after the race. In the latter miles (60 and beyond, usually) food doesn't have any appeal and my digestive tract seems to be totally shut down. Sweet/sugary drinks like Gatorade are hard to stomach so I am typically running on fumes. Following the recommended serving size, my 17 oz soft flask bottles hold about 150 calories worth of Tailwind, so maybe 30-50 more than a gel. It's not overly sweet, but does have a taste (I purchased the Berry flavor.) I bought this product to use at the 2017 Bryce Canyon 100 Miler before finding out that's what they would be serving during the race. At each aid station, I would fill one bottle up with their Tailwind and one with straight water. I will assume their mixing ratio was roughly the same as what I would do at home. At the start of the race, I was roughly 145 lbs (to give you a perspective) and I consumed I believe twelve 17 oz bottles of Tailwind, skipping refill at the last aid station. Besides that, I had two gels and two basic granola bars and a half a banana, and that was it for the entire, nearly 28-hour, race. I did not bonk, though I admittedly had a brief period of fatigue--there is a difference--in the middle of the night, and I had zero GI issues, despite temperatures reaching the mid-80s in the shade--what little shade there was. The most shocking result of the Tailwind was that I actually did feel hungry at times later in the race. This NEVER happens to me as usually my system is so messed up I can't even think about food. I'll note that while I didn't eat a lot of solid food, I actually could have had I tried. I just seldom felt the need for it. This was my first time using the Tailwind so I was a little cautious. I guess I possibly could have used more Tailwind and less water, but not knowing how my system would handle it, I didn't want to go "all-in" on the product. My friends who were with me during and after the race said I looked surprisingly good afterwards considering what I had been through. I mention this because one of the friends had seen me after a 100 miler the previous October that took about the same time and he said I looked like...well, bad. I did not have Tailwind at that event but wish I had and know that I'll be carrying it in every distance race going forward. The packaging says Tailwind is the only nutrition you need, but I think my metabolism is a little too high to not have some solid food along with it and that's fine as long as my body doesn't reject it. There's no way I could eat enough during a long ultra to keep from losing weight during the race, but it's good to have finally found a product that will keep me going and not sideline me with GI issues.

Good for trainings but during race I need to rely on gels as well. But maybe that’s me.

took a bit longer than expected (>1week) via amazon prime but wasn't rushed so that's ok. tailwind's new packaging and new flavour to try for me. works well on long exercises.

I have been using Tailwind hydration for several years. When I first learned of Tailwind, i was running Ultramarathons and I wasn’t sure how it would work for me. I found that your product was top notch. It’s easy on the stomach, easy to mix and doesn’t have an overpowering taste. I practically drink it daily to make sure I get the electrolytes I need. It not only provides me with the nutrients but it has 💯 calories per serving. The flavors are really tasty but I really enjoy the Cola flavor. I recommend it to anyone who is needing to replace electrolytes and have even given them some of mine to try. No matter if you are an athlete or stay at home mom, it’s the best product I have been introduced to and always my go to for hydration. Thank you for making an amazing product.
