I initially bought these small hammers for our 2.5-year-old boys to engage in exploration projects involving ice, allowing them to crack it open and discover hidden treasures inside. These hammers worked perfectly because the “kid toy hammers” did not get the job done.Beyond the hammers intended use its proven to be incredibly versatile and practical to have around the house & it’s so much easier to store in a convenient drawer in the house compared to its larger counterpart. Despite its small size, the hammer packs quite a punch and excels at getting the job done efficiently.(Note: if you happen to be purchasing this hammer for a little do keep in mind that the claw edge is sharp so I would recommend using goggles as a safety precaution.)

This hammer is ideal for my purpose. I wanted something small that would fit in my over crowdedtool kit. I needed the benefits of a small claw hammer along with something that still has a bit of heft.In addition, it is nicely made, and it doesn't look like a toy.

This hammer is the perfect size for small places where you still need to put a nail in place (ie. Hanging pictures, utensil hooks, etc.).

Bought for my child and she loves it. We put unshelled nuts on the floor with a towel and she has a great time shelling them.
