Yes, it's perfect for throwing in my work bag so I can keep it with me at all times. I can also feel the temperature change in the room/area that I am working in within about 20 minutes... it's a game-changer.

This heater is small and lightweight but VERY powerful and does not take long to heat at all. It is very compact and the pink makes it super cute as well. I love the fact that it has a “fall protection” to wear as if it tips over it will turn off automatically. I use it at work on my desktop and it serves its purpose very well. The only thing I don’t like is that it does not have a temperature adjuster. As it gets the room really toasty pretty quickly I find myself turning it on and off often to regulate the temperature instead of being able to adjust how warm it gets. Despite this, the value for the money is equal and I would purchase again. I’ve had it for about 3 months now and it’s still going strong.

Well, the whine it makes is kind of irritating, but for a half a Hamilton (on sale), it is about as uncomplicated of a heater as anyone could ask for. One button, one setting, instant heat, and only a solid surface to set it on (no carpeting, please!) and you're GTG.The no carpeting things is a safety and operational recommendation. This is only about an inch and a half above the surface it sits on, so it will heat up the ground in front of it. It's not a LOT, but without any safety turnoffs other than a switch on the bottom that automatically turns it off if it's not sitting on a surface that's solid enough to keep it pressed, it could cause some discoloration or even a fire, depending on the material that gets hot.It looks like it can come apart to replace the fan with another standard 3" computer fan (same form-factor), but I didn't take it apart to see how easy it would be. It appears to be screwed together. So pending confirmation of no glues being used (which would probably be bad considering most industrial glues break down in heat), it probably has some repairability.At 500 watts, it's not enough heat to warm up large or even medium sized rooms to be all toasty, but it definitely takes the chill out of the air over time and makes the room more comfortable.One star removed because of the whine it has, but overall, I'd recommend it to a friend who only needs to have a very small space heated (like a desk area) without breaking the bank, or the electricity bill.

I love this little heater.During the winter I kept it under my computer desk.It keeps you nice and toasty even when the rest of the room is cold.Highly recommend!

I probably paid $15 including tax for this little heater. I wasn't expecting much, but it really came thru! We have a 2 story home and our capacitor went out upstairs, which is where all of our bedrooms are. I got this for my daughters room, thinking if it worked well then I'd get two more for my room and my parents room. I'm definitely going to order two more when I can bc of how much I like it.A large high power heater can make the room too hot over the night... this one has decent power and it def packs a punch but can run all night and keeps the room at a really nice temp.Our floors are wood and that's what gets cold and makes the rest of our house cold. So I got a little stool, placed the heater on it and it kept the room at a nice 67, with the door cracked. The air blows nice and toasty!I love the safety feature of auto shut off- there's a little button on the bottom that has to stay pressed in to run the machine. As soon as it's tipped over, the button releases and the heater shuts off.My mom was worried about the unit "exploding" or whatever haha... and she asked me to touch the plug to see if it was hot to the touch and I'm proud to report that the plug doesn't even get warm.And on top of that, it's really cute! 10/10!
