STEM! I can't wait to give it to my son
I know nothing about these things. My 12 year old has an engineering mind, so I figured he would love it. I was intimidated at first so I enlisted the help of a friend that uses these all the time for a side-business (she is also an engineer by trade). She hooked it all up, gave it a few test prints, and was very complimentary of this one... said it is a nice model... wonderful for beginners. She did recommend getting a keyboard where you can Bluetooth print from your computer to the printer rather than having to physically move the SIM card (as long as both are on the same WiFi). She did have a little issue connecting it to his Chromebook (thinking there is an update that needs to be done to make this work, so we need to do a little research for this)... in the meantime, we left an old laptop with her to install the programs. I can't wait to give this to my son for Christmas... he also loves Legos and now he can print his own custom bricks! My friend also uses hers to print plastic parts that break off (a Jeep lover's dream)!

best 3d printer for 200ish bucks
The first one I got was so good I got another. Don't bother getting the old ender 3 get this one. No more fiddling. Run th auto level. Load you filament and go. Reality is improving their software all the time. If you want wifi printing just set up an octo print server

Prints but not compatible with laser module.
I bought this for my daughter last Christmas. After several failures to print we realized we just had a bad machine. We exchanged it and were printing in no time. Manual/instructions are not great, but once we figured it out we've been printing fine. When I purchased it, I was careful to ask a representative to make sure the model I bought was compatible with the laser module, as I anticipated that being a desired upgrade in the future. Here we are another Christmas later and it turns out this one will NOT work with the laser module. Very disappointed.

Good printer, software issues
***UPDATE: 2 days after the return window closed the printer took a dump. A small piece of filament got jammed in the feed tube, I took it out and replaced the nozzle at the same time, now it won't level. Tried 4 times and it just keeps cycling through the autohome after trying to set the z offset and eventually says leveling failed check after shutdown. It was working fine and now its a paperweight.I was excited to get this newer version since I already own 5 other Ender machines and have been happy with them. I was looking forward to the auto leveling and z offset features. However, the software crashes when it first opens, I went on their website and spent almost 2 hours downloading different versions, even the downloading would crash and it took me 4 tries to get the installer to download. All of those versions crashed as well. **Update: I finally switched over to my laptop and was able to get it working on it, not sure why it won't work on my desktop but it is working good now.

Easy set up, great packaging and worked perfectly out of the box
The printer was packed like all sensitive equipment should be. Assembly , printed instructions but with viewing a couple of the multitude available youtube videos, was easy. Turned it on and ran the first part and it came out great. I bought the Ender3v3 on the recommendation of a relative who gas lots of experience with 3D printing . I’m a retired engineer and got it primarily to develop a new hobby that will exercise my brain. Experimenting with more complex shapes and learning to use fundamental CAD programs to create my own has proven to be tricky and fun. I actually came across the need to produce some custom parts to simplify a task at home and I’m now “ in production “ successfully making a couple of dozen parts. I’ll parrot the many On Line videos: “ a great starter 3D printer”.

Great When it works
so, I decided to upgrade my ender3. No, not from the v2, not the pro, just... a base model ender3 from 5 years ago. I decided to get this one due to reviews I saw on YouTube and other places. for the First 3 weeks it was a BEAST. no more leveling, no more dealing with a super long Bowden, etc. I loved it, and I printed non stop with it for 3 solid weeks. I ended up printing Christmas presents for all my coworkers in a nice wood filament, and everyone loved itWell, last week (three weeks in) I started to get failures. so I thought it was the file (I had just changed form the wood PLA to ELEGOO PLA+). I worked on it a bit, and I thought it was good, but yesterday the extruder fan started making a LOUD racket. less than a month after buying the printer and the extruder fan already wore out its bearings. REALLY? less than a month? So here is my review: if you are lucky and everything works, then this is a GREAT printer. it is not a bambu or prusa, but for the price point I would recommend it. but be prepared to work on it when parts (like the extruder fan) eventually fails, especially since those parts might fail pretty early into it's life cycle. Depending on the kind of person you are, that might mean it is a great deal, or it might be a deal breaker. that is up to you to decided

Excellent 3d printer
I think the Creality Ender 3 V3 SE is a budget-friendly 3D printer.$219, I got 250mm/s printing speed, CR touch auto leveling and linear shafts.Nozzle temp 200, bed temp 60, I printed two pen containers with the creality CR-PLA matte filament. The printing process is smooth and the quality of the finished product is fine.I sincerely recommend this printers to you, and it is use-friendly to a newer. 10 mins, you can finish the assemble and start to print.

Beginners? Maybe? No
I'm a 3D beginner. This was not beginner friendly. My son-in-law has been 3D printing several years. He advised me to get BAMBU LAB A1 MINI. It's same price. If I get any more 3D printers it will be from Bambu Lab! Creality is a good printer but really not beginner friendly. Go Bambu Lab!
