These are the perfect size for note taking, roughly the size of a standard 8.5x11 sheet folded in half. I carry one everywhere I go, they’re not fancy, just a hardbound ruled notebook, the paper is of decent quality, takes fountain pen ink without feathering badly, also works well with pencil or normal pens. These are used extensively in the military, so there are plenty of accessory folders, leather pen grips, etc to go along with these to hold business cards, extra pens and pencils, etc.
